Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Checked out the Twins last night, they won 18-4 and went on to 30-15. It was their 5th game with 5 or more homers. There has to be a cold stretch coming with that team.

Was surprised to see that the Indians are still in the top5 in fewest runs allowed across the entire MLB

While I wasn’t thinking that our pitching had been bad, I did have the sense that it was underachieving or a little disappointing to date. Hard to make that claim for the staff as a whole though when looking at the numbers.

When I said at the beginning of the year that I thought Hanley and CarGo would get DFA'd, I at least thought they'd make it into June.

Roberto to the IL and Bobby Bradley called up for DH next?

Not going to the DL, but will be down a few days.

Haase is likely going to get in on some DH at-bats.

Yup, as boobie mentioned, sounds like they are just going to sit Perez for a few days rather than sending him to the 10 day. Imagine we see Haase at DH tomorrow vs the lefty Snell. Or maybe they DH Kipnis and put Freeman at 2B. Edit- adding another lefty makes little sense though

CarGo was hitting 4th in this lineup, and was just DFA'd.

Phenomenal stuff.
They'll be shopping for a legit replacement around the deadline to compete for that 2nd wild card spot. Seems like Rays or Yankees will take the 1st one with the way they're playing winning baseball, and I'm pretty sure NY got every kind of injury going against them and still clawing out wins. But it's baseball, things change in a hurry. Twins just look complete right now.

Where's those candidates at?

I think we need an to find a stick at dh. I'd love to give Bobby Bradley at bats, but I'm sure we'll be able to swing for a vet at the deadline to fill that hole.

I'm OK with all the OF options we currently have. An upgrade would be nice, but I just want the best bat we can find. We have a slew of plus defenders in the OF.

Man, remember when there were talks about trading for Schwarber years ago? He'd look real nice right now.
Am I missing something with Schwarber? I thought he has been an incredible letdown. Checked his stats and he looks like a dead ringer for a league average player

The Indians have about 2-3 weeks to turn it around.

The Rays, Yankees and Red Sox are next on the docket, and they're already facing a 6-7 game deficit in the division.

I'd expect Bauer, Kipnis and others to be moved if they can't right the ship over the next few series.

That escalated quickly.

Definitely time to start the rebuild. The Dolan's are probably doing backflips at the thought of slashing payroll.
