We could replace Colt with Steve Urkel and it would be an upgrade at this point.

How highly are the people you talk to rating them? I'd have them somewhere on the edge of 10-12.

I don't know what it is, but I've never liked Flacco much. He shouldn't be having nights like he did last night with the weapons he has to throw at and the defense they put on the fields. I don't think he's top 15. Matt Ryan I like, but he's still way overrated and doesn't deserve his Matty Ice nickname at all. I think he's better than Flacco, but I don't think he deserves the hype either.

A lot of people thought Eli sucked, but he won a SB. Against the undefeated Pats.

I actually liked Flacco better. Early on his career, he showed moments of being great. He can make some remarkable throws. His confidence looks shot right now. He should be better by now.

I think Eli gets a bad wrap. They defense that year he won was sick, but he is a good qb. He is not his brother, but i am not sure there are 10 qb's in the nfl i rather have at this point.... I take him over Flacco for sure.

I think Eli is just good. Not great. I agree, there's no way the Giants win, if they don't unleash hell on Tom Brady. But Eli delivered when it count.

He had the game winning TD.

I don't think he is trying discredit Eli. But it really was collective effort. Great D-line play, ground game, and Eli had a good game throwing. A lot of unsung heroes on that team like Jacobs, who had a clutch 4th down run to keep the game going. Steve Smith had some big catches. And Madison Hedgecock was an absolute beast blocking that postseason. It's hard for a fullback to standout, but he was murdering people.

The Giants D has to get credit for that one. Eli made some good throws, but it also took a ridiculous circus catch to get the job done. It was fun watching that game since I hate the Pats. Watching that Giants line abuse Brady was just good, clean, fun.

Winning a Super Bowl isn't what makes a QB great.

Winning a Super Bowl makes a TEAM great.

Prior to last season, would you have taken Eli over Aaron Rodgers because one has won a Super Bowl?

If the Saints don't beat the Colts, would Brees be somehow less incredible than he is?

I don't think so...

the last few minutes of that Super Bowl were agony. I was scared to death of Brady hooking up with Moss on one of those Hail Mary bombs.

Watching Brees dismantle the Colts the other day was just fun. He was on fire the entire game, it was absolutely ridiculous and made me hate Colt even more. The cherry on top was that his 1st two TDs were to Colston. Colston never gets off my bench, but he did this week because of injuries and bye weeks.

Is Eli not a giant? He did win and so did the other players on the team.

I appreciate the fact you tried to get the point, and I don't think any less of you for completely whiffing.
