Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Less than Weeden probably.

:chuckles:

I cant help but laugh...

I think of all the screen plays that he will whizz right by Richardsons helmet like DA used to whizz those slants by KW2 and BE, and then I cry.

I really wanted to see another year of McCoy with a few more weapons.

We will see McCoy at some point this year...I knew Weeden wasnt mobile but be makes Tom Brady look shifty. If our line keeps this shit up he's going to get killed.

Not surprised by this

I know I haven't said this on the site but for the few weeks leading up to the draft I argued with my friend that if the Browns were to take a QB not named Luck or RGIII that Russell Wilson would be the best option available. The guy is just a baller. Size does not limit him at all. He can throw a great deep ball, has really good touch and can scramble with the best of them. This guy will be a starting QB in the NFL for many years to follow.

I would have preferred to take Wilson later on than Weeden 28 yrs old at 22. Too short of a window in my opinion, could have loaded the team up with another WR or something. Oh well..

How many RCF people wanted Flynn?

That should be the question, because the number is large. I'm sure those folks forgot their support for him about yesterday and are suffering from acute amnesia today.

I never wanted him, I honestly wanted us to get Kolb because i thought he could come here and being in the WCO we run in Philly i thought he could florish

I wanted Flynn. I haven't followed their competition at all. Maybe he's a complete scrub, idk. It's concerning that Flynn didn't "beat out" Wilson, but at the same time we all knew he was viewed as a game manager. RW is getting the nod because he's a playmaker (in the preseason). I'm really not buying that RW pans out even past week 1. This is a move that a former college coach would make, that thinks ha can win with anyone with a spark. He's 5'10" and likes to run. At some point he's going to get crushed, DCs are going to lock in on his tendencies. Keep him in the pocket and what is he? Can't sell me on the guy based on the preseason.

I wasn't a huge Flynn fan but if we could've gotten him on a cheap short deal, I'd have taken him easily. On a deal like that, not only is he able to be benched/dumped if he's beaten out because the commitment level isn't anything crazy, he allows us to wait on Weeden or whoever instead of reaching because our FO knows we're Colt or bust otherwise (which Flynn allowed the Seahawks to do in waiting for Wilson in the 3rd).

The only thing worse than not having a QB is being committed to the wrong guy. I hope Weeden is the guy we're looking for because if not, we'll be wishing we'd have only wasted money on Flynn if Weeds ends up being a mistake that sets us back at QB and costs us a 1st round pick.

Yeah, Wilson starting for Seattle doesn't mean much - at least in terms of Browns taking Weeden. Simply starting at this point doesn't mean he'll be a good NFL QB. Would still easily take Weeden and his skillset over him, even in the first round.

Wow... just wow.
