2013 NFL Free Agency: Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Duke Energy Center. Definitely the coolest-looking building in the city. Even if it wasn't complete, they could have at least showed the Panthers stadium.

Charlotte is probably my favorite city (sorry Cleveland). It is just such a nice place, not really too run down in many spots. Just thinking about it makes me miss the Carolina's.

I like Charlotte allot, but clearly you have never been to Mardi Gras if Charlotte is your favorite, lol.

Dallas is a great city. Went to college there suck it and had a great time. Great mix of barbecue, fine steakhouses, Tex-Mex and standard fare, a cool art district and a couple great areas for college kids.

It's got all that Texas suck it has to offer culturally within about 30 minutes (Ft Worth), but Dallas suck if itself is very cosmopolitan and wealthy. Economy is diverse and strong there as well.

If I was to live anywhere away from my family, Dallas would be my choice. It's actually suck it better to live there than it is to visit.

This signing reeks of desperation. They lost Harvin and needed to make a splash, so they're paying Jennings about twice what he deserves.

Green Bay offered him $10M per year before he hit free agency, and Jennings thought he could get more. Once he hit free agency, Green Bay decided to move in a different direction on principle. So Minnesota actually paid him less than Green Bay was offering, I wouldn't really call that desperate.

Best CBs left: 1. Aqib Talib 2. Brent Grimes 3. Antoine Winfield 4. Nnamdi Asomugha 5. DeAngelo Hall 6. Mike Jenkins 7. EJ Biggers 8. Pacman

Is Winfield a possibility here? Would love to have him come back to NE Ohio. I know he's older but still very solid and can hit. Plus, he's Akron's all-time best football player.

It's funny that you went from Carolina to Bowling Green, whereas I went from Bowling Green to Carolina. But yeah, Charlotte is really nice. Downtown, South End, and NoDa in particular are all great areas if you're in your twenties and like to go out on the weekends.

I've definitely got to get back to BG some time in the near future, though. I'm craving some Mr. Spots and a trip to City Tap. :)

@AdamSchefter

Free-agent CB Aqib Talib reached agreement with the Patriots on a one-year deal.

is there any young starter left on the market?

Through the fans maybe, not in reality. Unless of course the fans still persuade the team, which is quite possible.

Either way, Smith is not an NFL QB...and if he went to any other school his name would not even be mentioned here.

Maybe to white people, but those that remember that Troy is from Cleveland have more sentimentality in that connection than just the OSU one. Which is why no one ever pushed for Joe Jermaine here.

Not sure why race has anything to do with it, and if you want instead of saying he is only being talked about because he went to OSU, you can say if he was from any other area and went to any other school, Smith would not even be mentioned.

Talib signs with Pats on one year deal according to Schefter.

So, scratch another corner off the list. It's looking more and more like Milliner every single day that passes.

EDIT: Shit I was real late on that one. :chuckles:

Its cool but traffic is a fucking nightmare due to all the construction.

The simple answer is no. Remaining starter quality guys are pretty much 30 or above. Munnerlyn might be a decent nickel. CB just became a pretty large draft need. Haden, Skrine, Wade would be our starters. I'm not as worried about safety because you only really need 2 of those as compared to at least 3 solid corners. Ward is solid and I think the winner of a competition between Hagg, Young, Gipson, and Bademosi would actually be serviceable. But CB has to be near the top, if not the very top, of the needs list.

Lol, remember when everyone was all about Hagg last offseason and I was the only one who said the dude was horrible.. Yeah... He's terrible.

If that guy is starting FS for us next year our secondary is in some trouble.
