@ CONCEDE Idk what's public, haven't been around. But it sounds like CLE signed Grimes from ATL # Browns

Guy used to be MFer Jones. I have no idea who he is, but Browns fans on Twitter seem to have some faith in him.

I guess he broke the Haden suspension last year. Time will tell.

He also tweeted this:

So whether or not it is Grimes, it looks like the Browns don't want to be forced to take a CB at 6.

Atlanta's attempt to re-sign cornerback Brent Grimes has gotten more competitive.

As first reported on Twitter by FOXSports.com, Grimes completed his second free-agent visit Saturday with the Cleveland Browns. He met with the Miami Dolphins on Friday.

Grimes, 29, was designated Atlanta's franchise player in 2012. However, Grimes tore his Achilles tendon in the season-opener and was placed on injured reserve.

If signed by Cleveland, Grimes would team with Joe Haden as the starting cornerbacks. Grimes also would upgrade a Miami secondary that lost cornerback Sean Smith in free agency to Kansas City.

The Falcons want Grimes back, especially after releasing Dunta Robinson before the start of the free-agent signing period. Robinson has since signed with the Chiefs.
