Game 13 | Cavs @ Pelicans | November 22nd 2013 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who exactly was he struggling to guard on the perimeter? Anderson hit every single one of his 3s with Clark in the game.
I'm not saying I agree with the decision, just making an excuse for Mike Brown. Still needed to find a way to get him in there, he's too good of a rebounder to leave him on the bench when we're getting outrebounded by 10+.

Kyrie wasn't fouled, he took bad shots while trying to play hero ball, get over it.

Unibrow definitely shoved him under the basket on his last drive to the hoop. Even NO's announcers were calling it a blatant foul.

The bottom line? Everything was running smoothly until about 5 minutes left in the game? What happened then? Kyrie put the blinders on. He is young and very talented. But its fine to call it as it happened.

How exactly? Drawing fouls is a skill, and talent. He was blowing by the Pelicans, and should have been getting to the line. Drawing fouls is suppose to be good basketball. Kyrie wasn't sitting there jacking up stupid ass shots. These were fouls. Clear founds that are called 80% of the time! For some odd reason they weren't tonight.

So I watched the last 5 minutes. It seemed like 10 Kyrie drives to the rack and 8 turnovers... Mike Brown really ought to put a stop to this.

Ball movement.

MB probably greenlighting that BS

Ya Kyrie lost the game, straight up. That and not getting any rebounds whatsoever.

How do you blow a 12 point lead with 4 minutes on the clock?! Are we tanking?

Tick-toc , tick-toc getting close to 20% through the season (after we play Spurs, Miami, and @ Boston). Anyone getting nervous ? I admit ... I am.

How can anyone not be? This team is headed to the lottery

Half the lead went away in a minute when Clark and Kyrie got sloppy.4:28 Anderson Varejao shooting foul (Ryan Anderson draws the foul) 93-81
4:28 93-82 Ryan Anderson makes free throw 1 of 2
4:28 93-83 Ryan Anderson makes free throw 2 of 2
4:20 Earl Clark steps out of bounds turnover 93-83
4:07 93-85 Anthony Davis makes dunk (Eric Gordon assists)
3:48 Kyrie Irving lost ball turnover (Jrue Holiday steals) 93-85
3:44 93-85 Tyreke Evans misses layup
3:43 Cavaliers defensive team rebound 93-85
3:30 Kyrie Irving misses 24-foot three point jumper 93-85
3:29 93-85 Anthony Davis defensive rebound
3:19 93-88 Jrue Holiday makes 24-foot three point jumper

Maybe the effort wasn't as good as it seemed after the great start.
Out-rebounded 48-37.

You guys are crazy stop acting like we have better options than Kyrie down the stretch. Face it this team just isn't that good and on top of that we have the worst offensive minded coach running the show.

It's not like Earl Clark made 3 of 5 threes tonight. Yeah, definitely don't pass it to him, drive into 5 guys instead.

It's not like Jarrett Jack was lighting it up for a stretch in the 4th either.

Officiating played a part.

And Kyrie's selfishness played a bigger part. You get a lead by moving the ball the entire game, and suddenly he just up and decides that passing the ball is for suckers and he's going to shoot it every single time. That's terrible basketball. You've been leading the charge that he should not be expected to be LeBron James or Kevin Durant, SO THEN WHY DOES HE KEEP GOING 1 ON 5 TO END GAMES?

You're right, he's no LeBron. So he had better wake the hell up, realize that, and stop playing the final 5 minutes like he thinks he is.

But you have to remember, Mike has said after other games, he tells him to just takeover... It's coaching and the ability to adapt.

Then a turnover and a couple of missed lay-ups by Kyrie in a minute and a half, and we are tied:

2:57 Anderson Varejao lost ball turnover (Jrue Holiday steals) 93-88
2:36 93-88 Jrue Holiday misses 21-foot jumper
2:35 Anderson Varejao defensive rebound 93-88
2:26 Ryan Anderson blocks Kyrie Irving 's 2-foot layup 93-88
2:25 93-88 Tyreke Evans defensive rebound
2:20 Alonzo Gee shooting foul (Anthony Davis draws the foul) 93-88
2:20 93-89 Anthony Davis makes free throw 1 of 2
2:20 Tristan Thompson enters the game for Anderson Varejao 93-89
2:20 93-90 Anthony Davis makes free throw 2 of 2
2:06 Kyrie Irving makes 13-foot jumper 95-90
1:53 95-93 Ryan Anderson makes 23-foot three point jumper (Jrue Holiday assists)
1:35 Kyrie Irving misses layup 95-93
1:34 95-93 Tyreke Evans defensive rebound
1:29 95-93 Tyreke Evans misses layup
1:29 95-95 Anthony Davis makes two point shot

They needed to slow the ball down after they had the 14 point lead. That's where Bynum comes in. He only had 18 minutes tonight, he looked good and I think he could have played the last 4 minutes. I feel that will be the key for the Cavs to have success at the end of games. I feel for sure that if Drew was in there the last few minutes this would have been a victory. He was the high man in the +- column tonight with 9. I know they are trying to be careful with Bynum and his injury, but he has been healthy and I feel pretty confident in saying that he could have played the last 4 minutes.
