Game 13 | Cavs @ Pelicans | November 22nd 2013 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TT played 23 min.......

Those who are crying for Kyrie to pass the ball down the stretch...to who?? Earl Clark??

Why are we playing 10+ players every game?

Mike Brown's trying to figure out his rotations! Dontcha KNOW?! It takes a good 45 games to figure out the right rotations - if you're Mike Brown!

I'm starting to lose my fucking shit.

Every fucking game. They get hot from three at the end, our players miss shots...To top this shit all off, the refs miss THREE calls

What the fuck?

I'm starting to lose my love for this game, I'm sick and fucking tired of every game ending like this. Why can't we win?

see you tommorow

I have no problem with Kyrie attacking the basket. The shots/lay ups he took were the same ones that he frequently made last 2 seasons.

No one's saying he shouldn't attack the basket...just not on EVERY PLAY with 4 minutes left the game, especially when we have the lead.

Kyrie lost the game being aggressive attacking the basket. That's how an alpha goes down if he does9 out of ten games Irving wins the game.

WELP, that sucked. But I was right behind the Cavs bench, and I got this....

Brown got out coached again. Brown failed to mention that as to why they lost in the postgame interview.

No he doesn't. He's done this several times this season and the only one I think we won was the double OT game against Philly.

And it took him 2 overtimes to do it. We could have won that game much earlier had we played more efficient basketball. We had the lead in the 4th and the first OT.

Was at the game, Dion looked depressed to be in a Cavs uni the second half. Andy looks like the injuries have taken a toll when you watch him in person. Bennett looks like he is a lost kid during warmups, no one pays attention to him and he looked like he had no confidence in himself. Pretty depressing to see in person,. Karasev looked good, and at times Irving looked good. I walked out thinking this team is months away from jelling, not weeks!

Don't blame him. MB + co. are holding him back.

I think this is a second half team. Team still needs some tinkering but there's enough talent to suggest there upside that'll play out in time.

*sighs*

The games are becoming depressing. I guess the reason they are becoming this way is beause you go into the 4th quarter and even with 4 minutes left you're sitting here actually waiting for the team to throw the lead away. And while I give props to the Pelicans for doing what they needed to do (push the ball), it's ridiculous the offense that was ran on the Cavaliers side to squander that lead. Spurs fans should be envious of the style of offenise play Coach Pop preaches to that team, because it's absolutely winning basketball and every year for the last 7 years it's, "The Spurs are a year older and done." And yet there they are, tied with the best record in the NBA winning games like a boss.

Is it possible that we would lose the game passing the ball down the stretch trying to get quality shots? Hell yes, but at least we lose as a TEAM offensively and not lose because we call full timeouts, then call a 20 second time out right after a full timeout to run a player were Irving pounds the ball, attacking the basket depending on a miracle layup against one of the better shot-blockers in the league hoping for a foul.

That's not winning basketball.

The games are becoming pretty close to unbearable to watch. And then I tell myself I'm a Cavaliers fan, why the f*ck should I expect anything positive? it's a generation of losing.

Different day, same struggle. Offensive direction.

Those of you blaming MB are hilarious. This teams roster make-up is a mess. I am not an MB apologist, but what does anyone suggest he do? Play Karasev, A foreign 19 year rookie more? Shorten the rotation? These guys don't give consistent energy with minutes they get now. Our SF situation is so bad we often have to play 3 6'3" guards together. If we had an NBA caliber 3 we win this game ( ESP because tryeke owned our under sized lineup down the stretch).

Everyone on this team is wildly inconsistent. After Kyrie, there isnt a ton of seperation between the next 8 to 9 players on the roster. That is going to force MB to have different closing lineups on almost a nightly basis.

Honestly, I liked the way the second unit looked tonight. Dion, Jack, Karasev, Clark & AV. This game was a great teaching moment of the team letting down their defensive intensity, and failing to effectively rebound down the stretch. We limit second chance pts in the 4th, and focus more on getting back in transition, and we win that ball game.
