Game 13 | Cavs @ Pelicans | November 22nd 2013 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, not in any way possible. That was a legitimate foul 100000% of the time. Nowhere near a ticky-tack or bail out call

You may be right. Had to watch on my laptop and only saw 1 replay. To me it looked like a '6''11 guy bumped a '6''3 guy a little bit under the basket but not as blatantly as everyone is making it out to be.

Bottom line is you can't blame the refs. The Cavs were out-rebounded, left guys open, broke down defensively, and became stagnant on offense.

Hey, Rizzo. At least the offense looked good, right?!

At least the game was watchable and we played pretty well. Can't ask for much more right now.

Then we couldn't get a stop in the last minute, and we were done.

1:15 Kyrie Irving misses free throw 1 of 2 95-95
1:15 Cavaliers offensive team rebound 95-95
1:15 Kyrie Irving makes free throw 2 of 2 96-95
1:00 96-97 Tyreke Evans makes driving layup (Jrue Holiday assists)
0:44 Kyrie Irving makes driving layup 98-97
0:31 98-100 Eric Gordon makes 24-foot three point jumper (Jrue Holiday assists)
0:31 Cavaliers 20 Sec. timeout
0:31 98-100 Al-Farouq Aminu enters the game for Ryan Anderson
0:31 Dion Waiters enters the game for Alonzo Gee 98-100
0:23 Anthony Davis blocks Kyrie Irving 's 2-foot layup 98-100
0:22 98-100 Tyreke Evans defensive rebound
0:19 Dion Waiters personal take foul (Tyreke Evans draws the foul) 98-102
0:19 98-101 Tyreke Evans makes free throw 1 of 2
0:19 98-102 Tyreke Evans makes free throw 2 of 2
0:14 Jarrett Jack makes two point shot 100-102
0:12 Tristan Thompson personal take foul (Jrue Holiday draws the foul) 100-102
0:12 100-103 Jrue Holiday makes free throw 1 of 2
0:12 100-104 Jrue Holiday makes free throw 2 of 2

A tragedy in three acts.

But yes - Irving killed the team. He's like LeBron, with a fragile body and half the talent. A winner!

I'm glad he didn't get those calls. Refs shouldn't reward that garbage.

TT played 23 min.......

Those who are crying for Kyrie to pass the ball down the stretch...to who?? Earl Clark??

Why are we playing 10+ players every game?

Such crap. So when we were up by 12 and playing and passing to players like Earl Clark the entire game, that wasn't working? That can't work in the last four minutes?

You guys are crazy stop acting like we have better options than Kyrie down the stretch. Face it this team just isn't that good and on top of that we have the worst offensive minded coach running the show.

We didn't need "better options" to win that game. We were winning passing and playing with the options we had. Kyrie decided in the last four minutes he would be the only option and lost it for us.

How exactly? Drawing fouls is a skill, and talent. He was blowing by the Pelicans, and should have been getting to the line. Drawing fouls is suppose to be good basketball. Kyrie wasn't sitting there jacking up stupid ass shots. These were fouls. Clear founds that are called 80% of the time! For some odd reason they weren't tonight.

He was blowing by the first two and ran into the remaining three.

Even at 4-9 we are only 1 game out of the 8th seed, so I guess that is good news.

Thank God we are in the east, as we will be in the hunt all season regardless of how bad things may spiral out of control.

People wouldn't like it and it definitely wouldn't fit with the plan...but if the Cavs could lose a bunch of games like this and end up with a top 7 pick I'd be pretty happy.

You're assuming we are going to win a game and/or maintain pace over the next two weeks. I'm not sure.... Not saying they won't but I'm not sure there is any team that is a near lock to win.... Maybe the exception being Utah.

Thank God we are in the east, as we will be in the hunt all season regards of how bad things may spiral out of control.

We're crazy for begging Kyrie to play proper basketball? When you draw a double team, you find the open man. When you draw a TRIPLE team....ugh.

Worst offensive minded coach running the show. Ha. Funny how this wasn't a problem when we were shooting 57% from the floor with gorgeous, crisp ball movement. Mike Brown was not a problem in anyone's mind until Kyrie shit the bed.

This. The 8th seed of the East is as bad as the 2nd worst team of the West, lol

Then Grant would fired and what happens then? A Browns like purging of the roster only to rebuild over the next 3-4 years with "their guys" . No thanks, already been through multiple epic tank jobs and I've had my fill.
