Game 51 | Cavs vs Grizzlies | Feb.9th | 6:00PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kyrie was amazing against Conley his rookie year. He was able to post him up, shoot over him, go around him. Hope he gets back to that form

Well I'm going to this one so I guarensheed a loss. The Cavs are 0-6 when I go this season. So I'm either really bad or really good luck depending on how you view it.

Cavs are 1-2 in games I've attended. I got to witness not only Damien Lillards buzzer beater , but also Jeff Teague. All in a 10 day span. Glad they won opening night at least..

And I'm predicting you'll be 1-6 after today

Believe In Bennett!

He's going for 24 and 11 tonight.
( optimism at an all time Bennett high. )

Question for anyone who feels like answering: why do people love Karasev, other than him being a first round pick? I assume more than 3/4 of the posters on this board haven't seen him play pre-2014.

I don't know to be honest. The people clamoring for him to receive a lot of playing time aren't thinking rationally. Maybe give him like 15 mpg or something like that off the bench, but it's been clear for a while now that he's not strong enough or fast enough to deal with NBA wings.

Karasev played for the Charge last night and I assume he'll play for them again at 5:00 today.

Stat line for him last night...meh, quietly efficient I guess. He should be lighting it up though.

I watched a game the other day on you tube. Its not like hes playing badly, they have their main guys who they run their sets for and he has to fit in. Hes still doing some things that will get him in trouble in the NBA, bit sloppy with the ball, jumping to pass etc..

This game will probably depend if Kyrie is over his hangover from last night.

We're making the playoffs.

Our team sucks right now, why not play a young guy and see what we have?

this is probably true, but we cant know for sure if he never plays.. i just wanna see what he can do

This is a bad match-up for the Cavs. We don't play teams well when they have solid big man, like the Grizz do with Gasol/Randolph. For example: The Kings game with Cousins when we got smashed.

I like that he has 13 assists to 3 turnovers in his last 3 games though, compared to 13 assists and 15 turnovers in his first 7 games. He must be figuring something out.

Also, re: Why do we like Karasev? He has elite potential as a shooter, and he's an above-average passer as well for the SG or SF position. His physical tools aren't ideal, and he showed some rookie jitters the few times he saw minutes from the Cavs, but Bennett had both of those problems to a much greater extent and has started to look better now that he's seeing consistent playing time. I have little doubt that Karasev would similarly start to show promise if he saw a steady diet of 20+ minutes a night.

Where's that baller Jon Luer? Was hoping him and Sims would have a battle of the most awkward run down the court.

Wait, do we want the Cavs to win now? I don't know what I am suppose to feel.

I just want a competitive game, where the outcome is up for grabs in the last min. I mean of course I want a win. I just hate when 5 mins into the game you know there is no point to keep watching. Just make it interesting

He is also what, 19 or 20 so very young and has elite potential shooting the ball.
