Question for anyone who feels like answering: why do people love Karasev, other than him being a first round pick? I assume more than 3/4 of the posters on this board haven't seen him play pre-2014.

He can shoot and pass for a 20-year-old wing, and he did played well during international tournaments for years. Did you watch him in the preseason? He had a crazy behind the back pass to AB against the Magic for a deep 3.

That pass was shitty.

He's not ready for big minutes yet. Think either the D-League or about 10-15 mpg in the Cavs rotation is ideal right now.

He is also what, 19 or 20 so very young and has elite potential shooting the ball.

Yeah...important to note that he's two years younger than Klay was as a rookie, and three years younger than Chandler Parsons was as a rookie. We'll have to be patient while we wait for his body and mind to mature and adjust to the NBA game.

There won't be any minutes for Karasev until Jack and Miles are moved. At least one of them.

I think Karasev, Dion, and Irving can be a great mix of guards. Just need them to mature first. I'm really high on Karasev. Think there is a ton of potential there.

Shooting alone will keep him in the league for a long time.
