Kyrie was amazing against Conley his rookie year. He was able to post him up, shoot over him, go around him. Hope he gets back to that form
Well I'm going to this one so I guarensheed a loss. The Cavs are 0-6 when I go this season. So I'm either really bad or really good luck depending on how you view it.
Question for anyone who feels like answering: why do people love Karasev, other than him being a first round pick? I assume more than 3/4 of the posters on this board haven't seen him play pre-2014.
Karasev played for the Charge last night and I assume he'll play for them again at 5:00 today.
Stat line for him last night...meh, quietly efficient I guess. He should be lighting it up though.

I don't know to be honest. The people clamoring for him to receive a lot of playing time aren't thinking rationally. Maybe give him like 15 mpg or something like that off the bench, but it's been clear for a while now that he's not strong enough or fast enough to deal with NBA wings.
I watched a game the other day on you tube. Its not like hes playing badly, they have their main guys who they run their sets for and he has to fit in. Hes still doing some things that will get him in trouble in the NBA, bit sloppy with the ball, jumping to pass etc..
Wait, do we want the Cavs to win now? I don't know what I am suppose to feel.
I like that he has 13 assists to 3 turnovers in his last 3 games though, compared to 13 assists and 15 turnovers in his first 7 games. He must be figuring something out.
Also, re: Why do we like Karasev? He has elite potential as a shooter, and he's an above-average passer as well for the SG or SF position. His physical tools aren't ideal, and he showed some rookie jitters the few times he saw minutes from the Cavs, but Bennett had both of those problems to a much greater extent and has started to look better now that he's seeing consistent playing time. I have little doubt that Karasev would similarly start to show promise if he saw a steady diet of 20+ minutes a night.
