Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Obviously, they meant well, but the Cavs have completely screwed up this rebuild--and continue to screw it up in the present tense. Not playoffs, probably no high draft pick in a good draft, a team that's going to have a hard time luring quality free agents, parts that don't seem to fit. Every move they make accomplishes nothing but burn assets.

I have no idea how they fix this thing but the first thing they should do is fire everyone and get fresh eyes. Certainly MB but yes, that means Griff too. They need to start over from top to bottom, right down to their analytics team.

Sir Jon you are spot on here!

We're going to miss the top end talent and the playoffs!

Double kick in the balls.

The season ended when Dion landed wrong on his knee in Philly. That was 4+ games lost. Then Miles went down and the whole thing imploded.

This is exactly whats wrong with Varejao. People never hold him accountable for getting hurt.

To the point where it's expected and it's okay.

Shoulda traded him a long time ago

He got a pulmonary embolism last season. Broke his wrist the season before, and tore a ligament in is ankle the previous season. Shit happens. I am not sure what exactly his current injury is, but I recall him taking a hard fall on his lower back/hip area around the time they started sitting him.

Kyrie isn't the one to rebuild with. Sure we got the best player from the draft but he isn't a game changer.

I just want to see some fight. Some anger on the court. I want to get out of my seat and match the energy. I'm tired of this going through the motions bullshit. It's fucking unexceptable.

I want to see hard fouls. I want for them to be fed up with being subpar. I don't want excuses. These are fucking grown men.

I want them to leave the bullshit off the court. To just say fuck everyone that doubts them.

I JUST WANT TO FUCKING BELIEVE THIS TEAM CARES.

But what's there to play for?

They can leave it all out on the court, and get you and other fans excited, but deep down, they don't have confidence that their coach won't lead them into a LOSS when it enters crunch time. They are outmatched at the most critical position on the team, the head coach, and everyone knows it, so why should the players care? Mike Brown doesn't adjust at all, in game, and it's destroyed leads time and time again.

I said it after the win streak, we know exactly what we are as a team-- better than the cellar dwellers, not better than any of the playoff teams, so I'm not really sure why this loss has everyone up in a tizzy?

Oh come on now

This is a rant thread. It's not a refined argumentation thread or a discussion thread. You are welcome to form your post in the shape of a rant, as long as you veer away from attacking other posters.

From Finnan:

Every time I see Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas, I get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. When there's a center sitting on the board, you pounce on him.

The Cavs passed on Valanciunas and Andre Drummond in back-to-back drafts. How did that work out for them?

I think FiveThous misspoke. I think he meant to say that Kyrie is someone whom you rebuild with but not around. This is something I agree with as well. I don't think his offensive output offsets what he's giving up defensively. He's not a superstar player to me.

Great player nonetheless.

Earl Clark, Henry Sims, Delly, Andrew Bynum, Kevin Jones, Jeremey Pargo, Jon Leuer, Samardo Samuels, Luke Harongody, D'Andrey Brown, Kelenna Azubukie, Michael Eric, CJ Miles, Manny Harris, Alonzo Gee, Lester Hudson, Ben Uzoh, Mychael THompson, Kenny Hayes, Terrell Biggs, Kyle Goldcamp, and JP Prince.

Oh god, i remember trying to get excited for Kelenna Azubukie... jesus, look what the tank has done to me

Right, just frustrated, I think Kyrie is a great 2nd option but like I've said before, if he's our best player going forth, we are in trouble.

I'll take "D-League Legends" for $1,000, Alex.

Damn that's a depressing list. I remember thinking Manny Harris was gonna be a solid shooting guard/rotation player. About that...

People love to shit on kyire and say hes someone to build around.

hes freakin amazing and only 21(?).. Is he lebron? hell no. But can he be your number one guy when hes in his prime? Fuck yes he can. One star cant do it all buy him self. Kevin love has never been in playoffs,is he a game changer? yes. Anthony's team isnt in the playoffs this year, not because of him, but because of his shity ass team.

kyires best player is waiters, who is good but not an all star(yet), his other number two is out pretty much half of every season,
One player cant do it all, add that to a new coach who is forcing to him play defense the first time in his life.
people here want results right now, but this isnt 2k, shit takes time in real life. Same as TT, his new shot is going to take time

people forget that players change and grow as the get older. kryie TT and waiters will not be the same player when they are 27
