The Quarterback prospect thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Phil Savage: I think the media has Teddy Bridgewater in the top 10 but around league circles he's more like a late first, early 2 rd pick</p>&mdash; SiriusXM NFL Radio (@SiriusXMNFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/SiriusXMNFL/statuses/456934523830554624">April 17, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Read the first 20 pages of the thread. Those are the top Qb's, all the rest is just hype BS.

5-10 yards

Ok, 10 yards is definitely an exaggeration I will give you that. I'd really like to see what videos b00bie is watching though because Savage looks wildly inconsistent minus checkdowns/screens vs UNC and ND. He has a couple good throws that make you see that he could be good but has plenty more of where he just flat out overthrows or throwns behind his WR.

You guys are talking about Savage and Bortles but are missing out on the most important aspect of them.

Savage has a way better QB name.

Teddy will be a top 10 pick. Not sure why ESPN has such an agenda against him.

This is a crock of shit! Boobie getting all of the credit for Savage!?

I have been talking about my deep and passionate, borderline gay love for Savage for quite some time now!

I look at Savage and see a guy with no time to throw and little timing with some borderline atrocious receivers.

I think his arm strength is the best in this draft (yes TripleThreat, including Manziel), and he's absolutely worth looking at given the flashes of accuracy he's shown on some NFL caliber out routes and down the middle throws.

Also important to remember that my manlove for Savage was under the assumption that he was a third or fourth round pick. At the top of the second round I like him significantly less, but that's what happens with quarterbacks.

Remember when Nassib, Barkley and Geno Smith were all going 1st round

The media has shot Savage from a unknown prospect to 2nd round pick, I'm calling bullshit

I don't believe it has much of anything to do with media hype, it has to do with the media had no idea who he was while teams did.

They're most likely playing catch up after Savage was not a part of their usual prospects they continually blabber on about.
