2014-2015 National Champs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think it will even be a tough call.

Ohio State would be 3-0 against ranked teams, and Wisconsin will be higher than 16th when we play them. Winning the conference championship game will be HUGE.

Everyone talks about how bad the Virginia Tech loss was, but they will likely end up with the same record as West Virginia, the team Baylor lost to.

Both TCU & Baylor have terrible SOS, especially Baylor.

TCU's potential remaining based on their schedule is a big nada. And they aren't even the true champion of their own conference.

Mississippi State all of a sudden doesn't have a good win. Beating Ole Miss won't be enough to stop a conference champion Ohio State from jumping them after conference championship weekend.

If Ohio State keeps playing like they've been playing and Wisconsin keeps winning, I guarantee Ohio State will be in the playoff.

They beat #14 Auburn...that's not a good win?

If they beat Ole Miss they'll have a nice resume, with their only loss coming against Alabama. It comes down to the committee picking an arguably better team or the team that (we're expecting) won their conference. OSU's in a better spot than they were before, but I don't see it as the slam dunk you do.

I think we all know Auburn shouldn't really be #14, they lost to a shit Texas A&M team and got fucking blasted by Georgia.

And let's not forget, Auburn could lose yet again, with Alabama still on the schedule.

That win is looking less & less impressive (as are their wins against LSU and A&M), while Ohio State's wins over Top 25 teams remain impressive, especially with Minnesota sticking in the Top 25.

We all thought blowing out Minnesota would benefit us most, but it looks like the close game against them will help us more, as it told the committee that Minnesota is worthy of sticking in the Top 25.

I guess I'm the only guy that thinks is really bad news? The fact that you say MIss St. suddenly doesn't have a good win and yet STILL is in the top 4 doesn't concern you? If the committee right now thinks Miss St. is in the top 4 how will they then justify dropping them if they win out and beat Ole Miss?

I dunno, Mississippi State remaining ahead of us still makes me think we need chaos at this point.

An Ohio State-Alabama matchup is a jizz fest for everybody. If Urban and Ohio State want to prove they can match the SEC toe to toe, what better way than on the national stage vs its strongest program over the past 5 years?

They would justify it by Auburn and LSU continuing to slide, making their wins less and less relevant whereas OSU would presumably have two Top 25 wins on the road and a neutral site conference championship game to their credit.

Tough to top that if youre MSU or TCU

Auburn has slipped for sure, but don't put it past them to play amazing vs Alabama.

That would be fantastic if Auburn beats out Alabama and it's FSU, Oregon, TCU and OSU.

As everyone, the networks, fans, sponsors, etc..would want Alabama vs OSU, damn that would be scary knowing OSU's track record.

MSU would have to lose to OleMiss for that to happen, as well.

But fuck the track record, I want Alabama.

Shut them up, beat them on a neutral field and reclaim the respect of everyone who has tried to claim that OSU isn't that good.

I think Miss St at 4 is if the season ended now. The committee has said winning your conference is important, until then they are picking best 4 teams right now based on who they played. We need to win big vs Indiana and Michigan, and have a dominate win in the big ten champ game. We need Minny to beat Nebraska, as it will help them climb an also give Wis a chance to play and beat another top 25 team, which might help them get into top 15 by season end.

It goes without saying we need MSU to keep winning as they could finish in top 10 of not top 8

I agree, bring on Bama. Go big or go home. They don't scare me
