LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Lebron's main issue is a well documented issue, a curable but nonetheless troublesome - over thinking.
This what slows him down and not letting him fly to the heights we all know he can reach - it is his head!
We all talk about his weight loss but his head became so much heavier -
He is back to his home town, he has so much to prove here, to his audience, to his friends, to his family, but first of all to himself.
He took upon himself to be the leader, the coach, the teacher, the psychology, the brother and the father of this team.
He is a smart guy, but when you try to think 10 steps a head, look 360 degrees all the time, you neither have the power to play nor to enjoy the game.
"This is a marathon" Lebron continue to say - but he is wrong, this is firstly a basketball game.

As soon as Lebron will start distributing the tasks he took on himself and start enjoying playing basketball, a game he is the king at, good things will happen.

Yeah yur right. LeBron has a thinking problem. Lol. Maybe he should join AA. Find a higher power and learn the serenity prayer.

It's your boy Blatt who has never stepped on a NBA floor who has the over thinking problem.

So you disagreed with his post, and then you responded to it with a "WTF?". I think thats a little much..

Judging by the first 7 or 8 posts I've seen from you, your quickly making a name for yourself on these boards...I won't say for better or worse, I'll let you figure that one out.

As for Lebron and the Cavs, I'm just not worried yet. I know we can beat any team in the East, home or away. So even if we finished in the 8th seed (I KNOW THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN), I think we'd still make it to the finals. They're just figuring things out.

I'm worried, I have $100 on the Cavs winning over 58.5 games this season :anv (13): I agree the Cavs should be able to win the East without home court. Its only $100 but I would like to see James turn it on sooner rather than later. It would be good to have home court for the fans and the Eastern Con.\NBA Finals.

LeBron needs to let Kyrie to be the PG. While Kyrie isn't perfect he has the tightest handle in the league. The ball should have been in his hands with LeBron cutting to the basket in some fashion. Also we killed ourselves by not having any timeouts which is on the coaching staff.

You can look at this two ways, yes having a timeout would have been huge, but who knows if we have a chance to win at the end if we had not used a timeout earlier in the game.

It is easy to say a coach should have saved one, but an example of one where he did not need to take one would add more color and clarity to this statement.

I think he just had an off night. He looked pretty explosive, had some calls not go his way. The Spurs defended him pretty well. He played bad, but we were still in position to win.

It does make me feel good, we can still be good enough to win this game, despite LeBron having a bad game. He was passing the ball very well, but that's about it.

I gotta say, I was very impressed with us last night. I know we didn't win, but I thought we gave by far our best defensive game of the season. Even though Diaw went off, those were well contested plays.

I know losing doesn't make anyone feel great, but to me, that was an impressive outing by the Cavs. It's just too bad we couldn't pull it out.

I agree, I didn't see him looking stiff or slow. The game was physical, and LeBron didn't get many calls inside. Plus he had a poor shooting night. That is going to happen over the course of the season.

Also, I do agree on the defense. Kyrie played really well on that end, and we caught a glimpse of the potential on that end. It is still clear that an agile shot-blocking center would be a huge asset to this team, but then again, we do have the ability to get stops when it counts even as currently constructed.

I actually agree with Oracio, and it is funny so many people disagreed when Lebron himself said that he wouldn't have made that turnover if he had not been thinking ahead about how to get to the basket. Lebron most definitely overthinks things. Brian Windhorst had a great article about this years ago, but people think it completely dissipated when Lebron won his first ring.

Those issues are still there, and it's one of the reasons I think it's so good to have someone like Kyrie who just has no doubts he can do it in those clutch moments. Both are drawbacks that could become strengths if they work together.

I would have to agree as well. LeBron is extremely analytical in his approach to everything basketball-related. While this has enabled him to perform some incredible feats, it has also seemed to him struggling in spots occasionally over the course of his career. That's not to say that he isn't "clutch" or anything like that; he is fully capable of taking over. It's just that some guys feel the pressure a bit more than others, and LeBron's analytical nature might make him more prone to this than others.

Who do you trust more to make the right decision ( whether it is scoring or finding the open man after reading the play) when it matters the most? I think this is the question it all boils down to. I happen to trust Lebron more that he will make the right choice that will lead to the higher percentage shot available at the time.

I think there's clearly some kind of physical issue with his ability to elevate. He still looks quick out there -- he had some really good blow-bys -- and he moves well on the floor but he just doesn't seem to be able to jump like he used to. That means he's not as good a finisher, although he is still very crafty around the hoop so he can get those layups off.

LeBron says this start is testing his patience... lol.. I'm glad our team is better but he needs to do less talking and more playing.. if he has avg games vs NY and SA we are 7-3.. he seems like he is talking down to his teammates through the media.. he has to watch that.. he needs to lead more by example and less by talking.. it has been quite obvious this year so far his energy or lack there of at times rubs off on his teammates.. he can't loaf back on Def and then talk down in the media or even directly to 1 of his teammates about lack of effort on that side of the ball... I hope he comes out tonight and has a big game it is obviously still capable of that... I do think we need to involve Love more and I think LeBron needs to make sure that happens so it lessens the burden on LeBron himself to score.. and he needs to get his back healthy

I think lebrons back is fine and he's just out of shape
