Word is they get duped by a fake Twitter...well done, ESPN. Still, premise remains the same. Chi Sox pitching just got a lot better. Sale, Shark, Quintana is a nice 1-2-3.
 
Someone called them potential instant favorites in the Central. Color me skeptical on that one.

Everybody will base their predictions on 1-2 adds from this off-season.

They've got to get to Robertson for him to be effective, Jake Petricka in the 8th scares nobody. They still have no answer behind the plate, their defense in the corner OF is beyond sketchy.

I think they have just as much a shot as Cleveland does, but to label them the favorites? Nah...

A really fucking good one.

Pitched a ton of innings last year so the risk for injury is going to be higher, but if he's healthy there is no question what he is.
 
I say we find a really gullible GM, tell them we'll trade Santana, switch the name to Swisher at the end and see if he notices.
 
We need to kick the tires on Kazmir, see if Oakland will part with him too.

Disagree, especially with how the 2nd half of the season went. Scott Kazmir, 2nd half: 4-6, 5.42 ERA, 73 IP, 2.43 K/BB ratio, 1.45 WHIP, and he is being paid 13 million this year and is a free agent after that. Meanwhile, TJ House, 2nd half: 4-1, 2.53 ERA, 57 IP, 4.55 K/BB ratio, 1.15 WHIP, and isn't even arb eligible until 2018. Much rather roll with TJ House after what he showed to end the season.
