This has no bearing on his abilities, but I wasn't particularly impressed with how he has handled everything. He looked pretty discontent when he was benched. That obviously would be understandable, but there was then a shot of him laughing when Manziel fumbled. Just not a good look for the team leader.

His press conferences were less than inspiring as well. A lot of people online have been saying he is "throwing his teammates under the bus." It's not THAT bad, but he do a bit disseminating the blame to everyone as a whole, then comes up with little excuses (wind, etc.,) rather than really taking responsibility. Again, just not really the leadership skills I was looking for.

I'd like if he would be willing to take on the role of a Mentor for Manziel these next few weeks, if anything.

I agree with this, but fully understand it if Manziel actually turns out to be a malcontent who doesn't take his preparation seriously.

Anywho, I think Hoyer would be wise to borrow a page from the Alex Smith book of replacement at QB. Stick up for yourself until the decision has been made. Now that the decision has been made, respond to reporters with a smile, silent mouth, and point to Johnny for quotes.

Little difference between our comments, so focus on the content of the posts without personal jabs. 2 months is by far enough.

Back to the point, Hoyer would be wise to shut his mouth t the media until the end of the season. Let's see Johnny handle the press.

Yeah, I doubt people will be knocking down Hoyer's door for quotes now that he's been made irrelevant.

I'm merely pointing out that the pot should not be calling the kettle black.

And yes, I've reference your position in a snide manner, I guess that makes me an asshole. I'll own that, I apologize if you're overly sensitive to is.

The feedback I've gotten on the VAST majority of my posts is always positive, especially those concerning my takes on Brian Hoyer.

The name calling in this thread was started by you. Your "b00bie is gonna b00bie" snipes while trying to assert yourself on the moral high ground is ridiculous, quite frankly.

Just stick to the topic.

I've been consistently asking for the end to snidely attacks for a couple years. I just happen to be the one you decided to do it to this time. Again, one of us was asked to address this posting style in the Browns section. The other is just needling.
