2015 Draft Prospects

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Winston is borderline undraftable, for me.

Has little to do with his off the field stuff.

Having Winston and Manziel on the same team would be an epic level of fail.

I wouldn't take winston for a box of crab legs.

I'd rather go with other skill positions then qb. Hopefully a wr/te and a run stopper/pass rusher.

Taking a TE in the first would be so Browns-like and continue the losing for another 5+ years

I don't believe there are any top end TE in this draft.

I'm still amazed RCF doesn't talk about the lack of intermediate route running threats much. I go here to the draft thread to feel normal.

That said, I'd love to see a second day pick thrown in if it seems they can't secure Funchess early in the second round. He isn't all that great, I'd be saddened if they take him in the first round... but a player with his skillset is needed.

The Joe Jurevicius type? Reliable WR, big target that goes over the middle and makes tough catches? Yea we need that guy. We need a deep threat #1 WR guy, we need an explosive TE. Funny we thought we had the #1 WR and TE settled. We also have the small, quick YAC guys too. All we needed this year, so we thought, was the Jurevicius type guy, boy were we wrong.

I guess they'll have to cross that bridge when the Browns get a QB capable of making intermediate throws consistently.

Miles Austin was that guy at the beginning of the year.

I see the need for a QB, but I don't think the solution for quarterback problems will be solved in the draft this year. If there were ever a year to justify a veteran retread who was worn out his welcome as the franchise savior elsewhere, this is the year.

He's also on his last legs as a professional and a free agent. Hence the need for that type of player.

We gotta #1 figure out the QB situation, everyone knows that. In the draft we need a WR that runs good routes and has decent size. We need help on the O-line, right tackle and backup center. We desperately need a playmaker on the D-line. Kruger had a hell of a year and Mingo played well. But after those 2 the production fell off. We are also looking at maybe losing Skrine and Gipson, so another db in the draft could be a possibility.
Of course some of those holes can be fill in free agency. We got 3 picks in the top 45 and we need to hit on all three.

Almost no chance they would lose Gibson.

He's an RFA destined for a first round tender.

Our two biggest needs, in my opinion, are DL talent and a reliable pass catcher that can be a factor in the red zone.

With all the Josh Gordon hype over the years, he's never been a guy who has gone up and caught the ball at its highest point or really battle in the air to win the ball.

I think TE is a huge need for this team. I'd prefer Williams just because his hands are ridiculous but Funchess can be a matchup nightmare, even if his hands are suspect. We might need his hops to catch Johnny's jump balls in traffic.
