4th month coaching the team

What exactly has Blatt done differently coming from Euro Basketball compared to a regular / average NBA coach?

Like many others have said, I've tried to be patient with Blatt and give him the benefit of the doubt. But to play James freaking Jones that much - AND to have a defensive set (that didn't even involve a switch!) where's he's guarding Morris all by himself.. I don't even have the words. Jones was trying his best out there, I don't even blame him. But this is not who he is in the NBA anymore. He's a specialist. Not a game closer.

Couple that with you refuse to hold Kyrie accountable, you don't play Mosgov for defense late if nothing else...it was a MASSIVE coaching fail tonight. Just massive. He's being exposed.

James Jones replaced JR Smith on the floor, not Kevin Love. JR Smith was absolutely on fire and you replace him with a guy who hasn't played meaningful minutes in a few seasons. I mean, what the fuck is he thinking? And I have been an avid Blatt supporter thus far, but enough is enough already.

He would do this to Dion too. Dion and JR are players you roll with as long as possible when they are shooting well. Putting them on the bench only will cool them down and reset them.

Clearly a competent coach sits Mozgov and Love for Jones and Miller in crunch time.

Blatt's out of excuses, if we don't obliterate the Lakers I think it's a rap.

You mean the lineup that was murdering Phoenix and erased an 18 point deficit in about 5 minutes solely because of the spacing and Lebron's PnR play?

Blatt cost us the game by sending a message to kevin love and moz.

That is the lineup you play to get closer on the scoreboard, not when the game is close and you need stops.

Its one thing to run with that group until they plateau, but when we need a clutch rebound or bucket in the final 2 minutes...

If you can't see this is clearly 60% coaching I don't know what to tell you.

They erased the lead because JR hit about 5 DIFFICULT 3s and Lebron looked like vintage Lebron in the 2nd half. Blatt playing scrubs had nothing to do with it

Why do you think the floor was so wide open for Lebron to go off when we were on the run and Phoenix couldn't stop it?

Having 3 shooters and TT on the floor with Lebron absolutely had something to do with the success in the 2nd half.

thats right ladies and gentlemen, you have a significant number of posters in this thread blaming blatt having the audacity to continue to play the lineup that got the cavs back in the game.

3 shooters huh... Well why couldn't it be Kyrie, Smith and Love instead of fuckin James Jones?
