The main reason Wiggins wouldnt have been the best fit here?
Dont take this as slight, but its Kyrie.
If Kyrie were a pure point pg. A guy that racked up 9 to 10 assists a game then I think Wiggins would have flourished early here.
However, Kyrie is an elite scorer. LeBron already handles the ball a lot as it is. Wiggins would have been stuck as a 3 and D guy. He would have flourished in that role. But I'm not sure he reaches his full potential.
Think of Paul George before Danny Granger got hurt. He was a different guy. He had a different role.
This is the most wide open year in years. So you cant blame the Cavs organization for wanting to win now.
