I think I need to write some more verse, to honor The Mozgod.
 
Someone do a meme with Moz' face pasted on Ivan Drago's saying "I must break you" while staring at Pau Gasol.
 
If he were here from the first game of the season, and we trotted out a top 10 defense...I would at least say Mozgov could be talked about for an all-defensive team or even somewhere in the DPOTY voting. He is a true defensive anchor at the 5, and he greatly impacts games. He just would need to do it for an entire season. But his value cannot be understated defensively, and any big guy averaging 2-3 blocks a game while anchoring a defense that was in shambles without him(I know Shump and J.R. and Kyrie's improved efforts have also been big helps) should at least get talked about here and there. It's not like every big guy has been working him in the post either, one or two weird performances(Pekovic comes to mind), but he's been good all around defensively.
 
And the fact that our coach know him from the Russian national team and they have good communication helps us a lot. I wish for the day that Bron will have the same communication with Blatt. When you listen to your coach, good things are happening.

Especially, someone as knowledgeable as blatt.
 
What's great about T-Mo is the stuff that doesn't show up in box scores. His ability as a screen setter - watch a possession and he will often set multiple screens, or his lateral quickness to contest shots around the paint and help cover for our guards - guy is just awesome.

Honestly outside of Lebron, he is the one guy on our team we absolutely need healthy. Medical staff needs to protect this guy like he's made of gold.
