Love/Wiggins Trade Revisited

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is Wiggins gonna draw teams opposing center or pf out of the box?
Is Wiggins gonna average a Double Double?
Im not sure what Wiggins would bring to this team that Jr Smith doesnt already do that isnt a redundancy

What I'm saying is that I suspect Kevin Love enjoyed a few years of empty stats and inflated production.

I'm not saying he isn't good. But all the talk of him being the best at his position was a crock of shit.

The idea of empty stats is ridiculous for a guy who was on a forty win team in the West last year. Kyrie didn't even sniff forty wins last year, and that was in the shitty East.

Scoring boatloads of points on a twenty win or less team? Yeah, those stats might be described as empty. But any team that wins forty games in the West is a pretty good team, even if they miss the playoffs due to the West being a total bloodbath. You could make a much more compelling argument that Kyrie's stats last year were empty than you could about Love's.

Absolutely can't stand the notion that Kevin Love put up empty stats because he didn't make the playoffs. He put up 26/12.5/4.5 on 59% TS while leading a 40 win team in the West, which besides him, consisted of Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic (who missed 28 games), Kevin Martin (who missed 14 games), and a whole bunch of scrubs. Honestly what the hell did people expect?

It's also worth noting that the T-Wolves' average point differential was +2.7, 7th in the West and better than all but 3 teams in the East. They were a good team, and they would've made the playoffs for sure in the East, or in the West if Kevin Love actually had some decent players around him.

This train has completely run off the tracks. Trainwreck thread.

I've never met the man, but I know for a fact he's done far more for his community and people in general than you or most of us ever have.

You can think what you want of him, but if you post it people have the right to judge it and point out your fallacies.
The five people I know that met him all agree that he's human garbage. Then there's his actual actions......

Like his charities and foundations and the time and effort he spends giving back to his community? I mean, I'd weigh those way more than a couple of your friends words who "met him" in passing.

Bron has great pr. I've never disputed that.

That said, basically everyone agrees that's he's a piece of shit. It's not a big deal, he's still a great basketball player.

Who is this "everyone?" He's the most popular athlete right now, at least in the NBA. People love him. His schlong gets slobbered nonstop to the point it is annoying for those whose team he isn't playing for.

We get it...you hate the guy you've never met. But nobody here actually cares that much because you don't seem to want to listen to reason. Can we move on?

ITT: Guy does nice things, its just a PR stunt.

Sure. Everyone who's actually met him knows he's a scumbag though.

That's all I'm gonna say.

I remember people saying in his first stint here that he was a pretty shitty personality.

But he's obviously grown up since then.

Maybe so. I don't judge fuckers I've never met nor do I listen to peoples complaints about pro athletes' personalities whom they met for five seconds and are mad they turned down their autograph request from a 35 year old man, or whatever.

From the outside looking in, LeBron does a fuckton of charity and his own foundations...I'm guessing a lot of kids would tell you he changed their lives for the better...guy has never been in any sort of legal trouble, at all. He'd be a pretty good role model for my kid if I had one. Nuff said.
