The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who knows how this series is gonna go down. Its basically two new teams going at each other with a few of the same old faces. Should make for an exciting, and yes, emotional, series.

The only thing I know for sure is there's gonna be some hard fouls to be had. Most of which will probably land on LeBron. Its already too late in the sense that they can't "waken the beast" inside of him, because as far as bad blood goes I'm pretty sure its mutual. So we'll be seeing LBJ on beast mode out there. Hopefully Kyrie and Love will play big too.

Lookin' forward to it!

Don't think our later matches will have much physicality in comparison. At least not if its gonna be Hawks and GSW. Though the difficulty will likely be even higher. As someone mentioned somewhere else, the Spurs already proved the way to beat LeBron is actually teamwork and skill. Desperately hacking him and pissing him off usually just backfires. Remember that time he absolutely destroyed a team single-handedly in the playoffs because a fan said something rude to him?? Still makes me chuckle thinking about it.

Obviously nothing is really predictive. No one can know the future, but why do you think net rating is particularly not a good indicator?

"Predictive" doesn't mean know the future. The point is that you are treating everything as though they have transitive properties when they don't. Your use of the statistics is just incorrect in this case.

Do you think the Bulls were in particular disadvantage against the Bucks, or are we at particular advantage against the Celtics, or do you believe that our matchup with the Bulls is unfavorable to us? I am honestly asking.
If you don't believe any of that, then I do think the stats that I listed strongly predict our success.

Net rating is a good predictor, just the arithmetic was bad in this example.

but I have hope that the Bulls might pull off the upset.

I am curious as to what happens if they potentially don't. What does Chicago do in the off-season? Keep the same roster and hope they can do it next season? Will there be player transactions?

The bulls don't scare me. We are a far better team than Milwaukee on both sides of the court. I think the Boston game has been very physical which is the hardest team for use to beat. Boston has a lot of young players, which are roughly equivalent on the court. Thomas vs Bradley, there just is not that much different net.. Rose vs Hinrich, that is a different story. Gasol vs Nazr, Butler vs Snell. The Chicago series will not be a platoon of hard fouls from Chicago, because they dont have the personnel to do it.

It's going to be a fun series. My only concern right now is seeing how difficult the Celtics made it for Kyrie last night, as I think the Bulls can instill that same interior defense and likely hit him even harder. But offensively, think the Cavs still have the clear upper hand going in. Of course this 2nd round series has to start the day I leave on vacation....

I cant wait to rip in to these, we take it 4-1. They cant stop us.

And I'm assuming ALL of the 1st round games would have to be completed before the 2nd round starts?

I have seen game ones held on the same day as other series game sevens, but I do not recall seeing it any earlier.

They will start round 2s while round one is finishing. The most likely date for game 1 of a Cavs/Bulls series is the afternoon of Sunday May 3rd on ABC.

I'm telling you: the strategy is to go into the visiting locker-room and release an entire colony of pubic lice on the stools next to the cubbies. Opposing team gets really itchy, timing thrown off, due to scratching, Cavs sweep, you are welcome.

Shit. That is literally the worst case scenario for me as I'm traveling thay day.

ABC will jump on Cavs Bulls next afternoon no doubt . No way they dont pick that game up for their Sunday slot! Clippers Spurs game 7 would be Saturday.
Expect this format. Pretty much a lock for TV purposes.
Game 1 Sunday may 3 ABC
Game 2 Tuesday May 5 TNT
Game 3 Thursday May 7 TNT
Game 4 Sunday May 10 ABC
Game 5 Tuesday May 12 TNT
Game 6 Thursday May 14 TNT
Game 7 Sunday May 17 ABC
