2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just watched the Spurs clippers game. Man, looking at the Spurs is like watching a dance. I wish we played this way.

In regards to the Spurs... man, coming into the playoffs I had a really hard time seeing them making the Finals. They have the most brutal path of any team in the West. But when it comes down to individual series, I just find it so difficult to pick against them. They are just so, so good...

"I can't believe the Wizards just bitch slapped my team three straight games!" Said no one ever.

Until today.

The Raptors are the biggest frauds in recent memory.

Lol anyone that really believes Leonard is more of a complete player than LeBron is doing drugs.

It's embarrassing we're even talking about this.

I was thinking the same thing. If Leonard had a Washington jersey on instead of a San Antonio one, he'd be seen as the second coming of Gerald Wallace/Ron Artest and probably not worth a mention in any conversation with LeBron.

To elevate a dude that has not averaged over 16.5 PPG his entire career to LeBron's level is ridiculous.

The Spurs are doing a great job developing Lenard and slowly making him the leader of this franchise for a time when Timmy, Parker and Manu are no longer around.

Lenard is not as complete as LeBron, but he is a phenomenal player, IMO, and will be around MVP level before soon.

LeBron can guard as well as Kwahi, IMO. The issue is unlike LeBron, Kwahi isn't the primary ball-handler with the responsibility to make play for others as well as being the primary scorer. The workload is already too much for him. You can't expect him to keep guarding opposition's best player for all four quarters. But, we have seen when LeBron when he is locked in on someone, manages to guard them pretty well. Be it Rose or Parker earlier in his Miami days or Harden and Blake this year.

LeBron should have won 2011-2012 DPOY over Chandler IMO.

Not in 2011-2012. Tyson Chandler deserved it that year. It was the year later when Marc Gasol won it in 2012-2013, is when LeBron deserved to win the award. Funny thing was inspite of being the Defensive Player Of The Year in 2012-2013, Marc Gasol wasn't selected in NBA All-Defensive First Team! :chuckle:

Never gets old to see Chris Paul have an early exit.

It's interesting that the Spurs played completely different type of basketball during most of the big 3 era. At the first years of last decade they would average 20 assists, which was among the lowest in the league. Even a few years ago they still averaged 22 assists.

I am wondering how and why Pop changed this culture.

Spurs/Clippers is the only series where both teams have won a game.

And it is looking like that one will go 5 if last night is any indication.

Leonard reminds me of Rondo in that he's overhyped next to a bunch of hall of famers making his life far easier than it would be on almost any other team. Though I do think what Kawhi has done is more "legit".

Also, he had his career high of 32 points last night. Seriously? I mean Dion Waiters has already done that twice. Of course, Dion is a scorer, and Kawhi is better at pretty much everything else.
