2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Has a team with home court advantage ever been swept in the first round? The Raptors should be embarrassed. It's disgraceful.

Quite literally, anything Kawhi can do, LeBron can do better.

I got to say, it's unbelievable how good that draft has turned out. They were calling it one of the weakest ones in years, and it's actually turned out to be one of the best ones in recent memories.

Even Enes Kanter ended up turning out to be pretty good. Williams was a flat bust, but hey, there are busts in every draft.

Jimmy Butler, Brandon Knight (arguably all-star level player), Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Nikola Vucevic, and Klay Thompson. Not bad, for a draft with "no stars" in it.

Good role players in the Morris Twins, Nikola Mirotic, Reggie Jackson, Kenneth Faried, Alec Burks, Tobias Harris, Norris Cole, Tristan Thompson, Shumpert, Enes Kanter, Jonas Valanciunas, and Kemba Walker.

Damn, what a deep and great draft class.

13 will go down as the worst, but I think 12 will go down as pretty weak (other than AD) when I believe that draft was hyped for players much more than AD.

Leonard is the most complete basketball player in the NBA, Lebron included

Yeah, no. A 30 year old LeBron having an off-season is still superior to Kawhi Leonard having his best season. PER, TS%, VORP, WS-- you name it.

Leonard had a monster defense season so he was better than LeBron in that department. LeBron currently has a better playoff DRtg than Leonard though.

Griffin sure has a habit of coming up small when his team needs him the most.

I'd be lying if I said I'd be very confident in us beating the spurs in a 7 game series. If they get there, which will be tough, boy oh boy, what a collision course.

What's scary is they should have beaten LeBron's Heat twice. They beat themselves, more than the Heat really beating them.

Scariest team for us to play probably. But GS is dynamite too, those are two tough, tough teams. We'll have to earn it if we want the trophy.

What's great about seeing the Clippers get blown out is seeing Austin Rivers play on national TV so we all get to see just how terrible he is...

Not a doubt in my mind Doc doesn't get jealous of Dell Curry for creating a basketball savant... You know when he looks over to Austin down on the end of the bench he wonders why he's not Steph Curry ??

There are only 8 serious teams in these playoffs. And the Raptors and Clippers are not among them. Bring on Round 2.

Hawks v. Wiz
Cavs v. Bulls
Warriors v. Grizz
Rockets v. Spurs

Hawks v. Wiz - Wizards in seven.
Cavs v. Bulls
Warriors v. Grizz
Rockets v. Spurs

Calling it right now.

Perhaps when LeBron was younger, however LeBron really can't compete with Leonard's defensive ability at this stage in their respective careers. Leonard is in a league of his own on defense. Against a team like the Clippers he can guard Chris Paul, a top 3 PG in the league, or Blake Griffin, a top 3 PF, and do it well. The guy is an absolute monster and deserves all the credit he is getting. Top 10 player in the league imo.

I'd also give Leonard the nod over LBJ in spot up shooting, though LeBron does not shoot nearly as many spot up 3's as Leonard does.

I mean, just look at this Clippers game... The Spurs original big 3 of Manu/Tony/Tim combined to score something like 12 points? And they still demolished one of the top 3 teams in the league by 30 points. Certainly it was a team effort, but Leonard was the man who made it all happen. The guy is a baller and will most likely be an MVP candidate next year if he stays healthy and continues on this sort of trajectory.
