Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shumpert's hot shooting early on ignited an absolutely phenomenal homecourt advantage from the tip. My voice was shot by the end of the 1st quarter.

This guy exemplifies "next man up". If he can keep this rhythm going with JR coming back, we're that much better.

Really hope the injury isn't serious. Like @Dr. Gymbo said, I'd love to see that lineup.

Shump will start next game, I am pretty sure of it. Not that much because of his performances, but more because JR hasn't played an NBA basketball game for two weeks, he will be rusty as shit and will need some time to get it going.
JR has also been practicing with the second unit.

Getting Moz, Shump and JR can not be over-stated. Imagine where we would be without those 3. Regardless of how we do from here out, the moves to get those three guys was fuckin HUGE.
bleh..Griffin didnt get and dont deserve gm of the year..the golden state gm deserves all the credit in the world for doing nothing..

Damn Shump, earning that contract.

Seriously though, I really am looking forward to a lineup of:

Irving/Smith/Shumpert/LeBron/Mozgov (or TT)

I remember before J.R. KOed Crowder that this lineup worked really well.

Shump leaves over my dead body!

Ok, Jigo's dead body, but you get the idea...

@ChrisBHaynes: "It's going to take a lot of doctors to keep me from playing in Game 3." Iman Shumpert, groin strain.

THIS one better not be worse than we thought ALSO. I thought someone heard a POP...

Was the play on which Shump got hurt a dirty play?

Serious question. I haven't seen the play.

He just sort of did a crab move awkwardly. Some said dunleavy had his foot under him when he landed.

It didn't look like it to me. Shump is injury prone though. Been worrying about him all year and even more so in the playoffs especially as his intensity is ratcheted up. We really do need him big time even if he just plays his average. But I'll definitely take a game like this from him any day of the week.

I'm giving the Shump a whole lot o props..
Dude is a baller.
He's the type of SG the Cavs need minus injuries..

He can start,or come off the bench but his game is going upward.

Pretty much this. His injury history is extensive for someone as young as he is (24).

Torn meniscus, Torn ACL, Sprained Shoulder, Sprained MCL, Separated Shoulder

All of those injuries caused him to miss time at some point. He's played in an average of just 60 games a year his first 4 years.

Shump has been awesome, just needs to stay healthy.
