He left? He was literally the first person to make my ignore list on this new site, so he's been 'gone' to be for like 6 months now.

This is the part where Shumpert talks about the flagrant foul, etc, and then warns Mirotic. GREAT stuff:

Irving had faith in his team. His teammates had convinced him they would be wrapping this series up in six. In backing up their word by executing the plan, it gave Irving some much-needed extra recovery time going into the next round.

He saw what the Mirotic play ignited, knowing how well his team performs under adverse situations.

It prompted a laugh from his teammates and James responded, "He must not know you're from The Chi." Mirotic was partially responsible for their demise, which allowed Irving to be a second-half spectator.

His handle already looks to have improved a lot since when he arrived. Back in midseason it was an adventure every time he tried to penetrate. Now you feel a lot more confident watching him.

We really have some guys with upside potential now. Shump, Delly, even Mozgov if he can stop having stone hands on passes and learn to finish reliably. And TT if he can hit bunnies when left wide open.

It's funny that you bring that up. I was re-watching the game earlier and thought to myself... thank god we don't have Dion Waiters.

It's amazing how much more athletic we are with Shump and JR. Great size and length... we would have been completely fucked with Dion.
