Because you subscribe to the stupid 12 step abstinence only nonsense that America has been pushing for 70+ years. You leave the US and look into rehab facilities across the world, and the majority do not use a 12 step program.

Just because you've never heard of rehab clinics that do it differently doesn't mean they don't exist. 12 step program has an actual success rate of less than 3%, contrary to the bullshit claims they make.

You don't know what I subscribe to and I couldn't care less about your views on the matter.

What I do know is that Johnny wasn't in rehab to be told he could still go out and down shots. That sounds preposterous.

Again, you know absolutely nothing about rehab clinics, and have a false belief that all rehab facilities are 12 step programs. So your views on the matter are tainted by old information.

My views on the matter aren't important, but statistics prove that my views about 12 step are spot on.

It's safe to say that you know absolutely nothing about rehab clinics, the programs involved with them, or anything else involving addiction.
 
I am glad we are all addiction counselors, we know what he was in for, and are 100% sure what his Dr's/counselors say he can and cannot do after he got out.
 
Regardless of what anyone thinks his counselors said, it is ill advised to be out drinking AT BARS right after coming out of rehab knowing it will become a story.

He still doesn't think. Not that anyone expected him to. I just don't buy that anything has changed.

I agree. Even if his counselors are fine with him drinking, the general public believes that not to be the case.

He must not be aware that you can buy your own bottles of alcohol.
