Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
well better for Johnny to be seen drinking now than out of nowhere in the middle of the season and the reporters screaming relapse as the tema prepares for a game

Regardless of what anyone thinks his counselors said, it is ill advised to be out drinking AT BARS right after coming out of rehab.

He still doesn't think. Not that anyone expected him to. I just don't buy that anything has changed.

For someone in the spotlight, it's probably the best place for him to be consuming his alcohol. What you don't want is for someone to be doing their drinking at home, because there will be little to no oversight into his quantities etc.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Haden was with him intentionally as a support mechanism to keep him in check.

As for the general public, as evidenced by the idea that rehab = abstinence, the general public doesn't know shit.

Thats Right Johnny Manziel is educating the world and laying to waste steroetypes and taboos associated with those branded as alcoholic.
Johnny might get that Seagrams sponsorship yet

Missed the weekend, apparently I missed:

Torn defending Manziel regardless of what happens.

JSS making horrendous comparisons, exaggerating the story and passing himself off as an expert on drug rehabilitation.

Manziel still being a terrible QB regardless of whether or not he drinks.

Can anyone confirm?

Completely agree, would be shocked if rehab wasn't just for show.

I agree. Even if his counselors are fine with him drinking, the general public believes that not to be the case.

He must not be aware that you can buy your own bottles of alcohol.

The general public? Fuck the general public.

@Man Called X hit it on the head.

Jigo is such an upstanding citizen. Johnny should model his behavior in his image.

And again - 2 games means shit. After 16 games - then you are more than wlecome to comment on how well he measures up as an NFL QB (on a continuously failing franchise nonetheless).

Just to be clear i was defending all alcoholics who hang out at bars after being rehabilitated.

Noone should ever drink alcohol.

Only the plebs need 16 games to know this isn't going to end very well.

Well.. I hope, for more than one reason, that Johnny is "allowed" to have drinks like it's being speculated about. If Max saw something as well, then it means Johnny is almost assuredly drinking again. I get that it's a bad look, but if it's in-line with his rehabilitation, I'm not going to judge.

What I do know is that he should get in front of this before it becomes a headline; @The Oi I don't think it's a story quite yet... It's news only here, really. Johnny can quash the whispering around him by just addressing the nature of the rehab.

On a side note, if Johnny isn't supposed to be out drinking, that will be the 2nd teammate that Haden has been out drinking with who wasn't supposed to be drinking at all... That's more concerning to me, as a Browns fan, than Johnny boozing.

Since someone finally brought his drinking up, I heard he was doing the same thing after game 5. I told Jigo about it a couple days ago.

I was never gonna give you up as my source. :chuckle:

Since he did, I thought he was talking about LeBron at first when he said someone was drinking and I was all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯?

Let's put it this way, since I trust Max much more than any twitter slore:

If Johnny IS allowed to drink, but only in moderation, I would be perfectly fine with him drinking with Haden to tell him it's time to stop.

If Johnny IS NOT allowed to drink, not only should Johnny be cut and never heard from again, but Haden should be fined a hefty fine for taking Johnny out to have a drink.

We have to watch that horse and pony show for 14 more games? :(

You don't need a set amount of games to determine if a QB has it.

Sometimes the answer is relatively obvious.

Putting some arbitrary number on it and pretending you'll know definitively after that is a fools errand.
