so with taht as preface - the fact is that Thompson is very good at challenging 3 shooters. I can still picture T-Mo fouling Korver on and +1 where he was just inside the 3 line. A 4 pt play is going ot give a team life.

Good point, but there's a little more to it than that ... it's also about being able to switch those P&R's. We became so predictable about it, that Teague was inviting it and attacking Thompson (with his 5 fouls).

Why would we invite a mismatch like that? Over and over?

And the answer is we'd rather see the Hawks try to go 1v1 then get their offense flowing by rotating and getting their passing game going.

Heh, as I type you're mentioning this in the 91.1 inteview. :)

Please please @Chris Parker ask Horford about his flagrant foul on TJ Ford and whether it crossed the brotherhood line. If so, is he, Horford a dirty player?

I tweeted in the appropriate direction. I assume somebody will pick up the thread, but if they don't I will.

I'm not very interested in these sour sports. as I tweeted last night, losers gonna hate hate hate - and I try not to feed the trolls.

true, but were all pretty sick and tired of awful officiating and the constant negative spinning. It's just misery, and everything has repercussions. Delly has been cheap shotted all series long already. We don't exactly need any more help getting refs to give gs calls and getting them against us.

A lot of us would really like a direct response
to the cumulative narrative so the bullshit can stop. I just want to watch the team I've followed all my life try to win it all and it couldn't be any less fun.

You've been championship caliber on twitter this whole postseason, but especially this series. Just awesome. Great call on the Ford foul.

The Atlanta Hawks are soft in every way possible, and they're doing what soft teams do. Whine. Thank you for calling them on it and having followed you for a while now, I know you'll keep it up.

btw, loved your question at the presser to blatt..

asking about other guys bringing the ball up court and a convenient (un?)related questino about how well jr smith has been doing everything..

didnt seem like blatt got the hint though

Please let that find its way to Horford...

Also liked your complimenting of James Jones defense on guys 5-6 inches taller than him on the radio this morning. Great point.

already thought up the approach

"if your elbow had connected and Delly had wound up like TJ Ford, would you still have felt justified?"
Also, that idiot Bazemore said that Horford's action was in retaliation for Delly. Can you ask Bazemore when the next time he's trying to dunk the ball, would it be perfectly justifiable that Perkins pummel the living hell out of him while in midair knowing he had not shot at going for the ball. It should be ok for the Cavs to retaliate for the Antic dirty foul that nobody is talking about right? The worse thing it could lead to is a bruise tailbone and two broken wrists right?

id really rather not get into a battle of miniutiae. it only escalates and encourages nit picky rebuttals. (llove you @gourimoko, lol)

this is just the thread this response hapens to be in, im in no way pestering you @Chris Parker to take action, but Id rather someone with clout and a podium to summarize all the shit thats going on in a more big picture sort of way.

It was memorial day weekend and people other than me have lives so don't hate the wait, love the content

All the big o'l words in there. Decipher this please.

"His play’s a physical representation of Schopenhauer’s “Will and the Idea,” a conception of reality as but a perception upon which an indomitable will strives to stamp its imprint."

Seriously Chris; great stuff.

He was just taking Blatt up on his post-game presser challenge ...

Mr. Parker-

Thank you for demonstrating a knowledge of the great literature and that there are tons of great reads beyond the sports pages, internet and twitter.

Chris, you need to start asking leading questions like other city reporters do, such as asking Blatt if he was surprised that the Hawks player was not suspended for any additional games such as JR, or asking Holford why is he talking about brotherhood when he pulled down Delly, elbow chopped him and then sat on Delly's arm with all his weight, and then talked about Delly as if Holford's actions were premeditated.

Someone needs to ask the questions that portray the reality and that, sir, starts with you, since I don't beleive anyone else is willing to do it from these neck of the woods.
