Loved the 'Bron told ATL reporter who asked about meeting the Hawks desperation, said they wouldn't match thier desperation but certainly their intensity, I'll see if I can find the direct quote and edit it in...

Question for @Chris Parker

About a year ago, I had a long email exchange with Scott Rabb (who is also a friend of mine) regarding objective vs subjective journalism - Tony Grossi being the main subject - and how he kills all credibility within his articles due to extreme confirmation bias.

This is not in defense of Fedor, as he warrants no defense (seriously, I wouldn't trust him to buy me an apple without asking the cashier why Blatts eyes look funny), but I have to assume the creative freedom (for lack of a better term) the Scene grants you vs employees of NEOMG is extensive.

Now I am not suggesting that if Fedor wrote for The Scene that he would morph into George Plimpton, but in a Buzzfeed - Upworthy world of journalism, where readers only want to see 2 inches in front of their faces, one can sympathize with click-bait forms of journalism. It's Fedor's choice to go that route, I'm just curious if he actually enjoys the voice he projects over every channel. And if the journalistic freedoms you and members of NEOMG are similar, then start your own website, cause that's some good fucking content my man.

Don't know whether anyone has noticed Fedor has picked up the quality of his questions the past 2 wks. I have. I have no vendetta, except maybe Vardon and he knows why so no problem there.

As for going it alone, I don't want to think past this season, and the Scene has been a fine place to write for and I've worked for them for a while in the past. I'm not sure how much work it would be to have my own site and if I would be able to make any money that way. Lots of thought for 1.5 months from now.

He definitely has done better in the press conferences, notably so after last game. Much more simple questions and more to the point with a more clear answer in mind. Hey, if starting a minor war with those guys is what it takes to get them to improve and hone their craft, keep on keeping on Chris.

I haven't paid attention to his questions or articles, but I have decided to try to give 92.3 a chance again so I listen sometimes on the commute to and from work. He was on there the other day and seemed to give respectable thoughts and didn't sound like an idiot/drama queen.

It's amazing to me that more reporters don't craft their questions as carefully as you do, as when you mentioned in the Marion thread why you didn't ask Blatt why Marion's not playing. You recognized that the answer would be awkward, so there was no point in asking the question.

I'm an attorney, which makes me pretty anal when it comes to the exact wording of questions. But damn, it is important, especially when you only get a couple of questions, like you guys get after games. You'd think reporters would think them through more carefully, considering whether they're insulting and/or something the coach just can't answer honestly, etc..

I think too many reporters use that period as an opportunity to argue, which seems like a complete waste of time to me.

Anyway, nice to see Fedor taking his craft more seriously. The other guy I notice is Roda. I think he's pretty "meh" as a talk show guy, but I've always thought his questions post-game and in interviews he's done on his shows were good. He seems to "get" that the questioning process isn't about the guy asking the questions, but rather the guy answering them.

Chris, be interested if you could find out more about Kyrie's injuries. Tendinitis can be debilitating but I've had plenty of it in my foot and anti-inflammatories help if I'm going to be doing things that cause it act up (where it would otherwise be pretty unbearable). Seems like they should be able to sort of numb it into submission so he can play... which leads me to wonder if there's something more than tendinitis going on. I've never had knee tendinitis so can't speak to that.

I'd say under the circumstances the fact that the dictate came from doctor Dick Parker (haha) and not team (if true) doesn't sound very good from prognosis standpoint.

I try to post everything on this thread as it runs. you can also follow me on twitter @CRS_1ne

(explanation: Kris Parker is a great original rapper who went by KRS-One which stands for Knowledge Reigns supreme over nearly everyone.)

BDP is one of my all time favorite. Grew up on old school and KRS-1.

Maybe Love can be our Scott LaRock, lol

@Chris Parker I'd love for you to tweet out when you are about to be on the air, even if it's a regularly scheduled deal like Mondays at 10:45am. I'm usually sitting at work and if I see a tweet about someone I enjoy listening to going on the air, I usually make it a point to give it a listen. Heck I listen to just about anything I can that's Cavaliers related during the playoffs.

Still reading. Awesome so far. But you had a couple of mistakes that you might want to fix - Bud is the CoY and not the runner-up, and you also spelled his first name "Miek".

Yes, also we lost game 1 to Chicago at home. But great article as always!
