The NBPA with an as expected "The Mavs knew the risks" response to what happened. I'm sure that if the Mavs decided to drop Jordan on his ass last minute because they had a change of heart, and there were no good suitors left, the NBPA would take that exact same approach.

It was a response to the Circus post, both me and the other guy just jumped to the thought of JR playing for the Kings at pretty much the same time. The joke of adding JR to that team pretty much writes itself.

Go big or go home. Again, if we can come to some agreement with Johnson as to what his pay would look like in year two and three, to be officially signed later, I think we would make up value. Better than sitting on Andys contract with him on crutches again. Johnson fills our biggest need: scoring and creating off the bench while resting LBJ.
 
OKC has no recourse but to match. They won't let Kanter walk.
