'Power' on Starz might be the most emotionally captivating show I've watched [personally] since 'Breaking Bad.' I'm legitimately totally invested in the story and the outcome of these characters - something I haven't been able to say about a show in a very long time.

Bummer, Twin Peaks has been pushed backed to 2017. 
Damn it! That's a long time! But, as long as Lynch doesn't back out again, all is good.
Twin Peaks is just everything to me. I've watched a lot of compelling dramas over the years, there's some good stuff.
Still nothing compares to Twin Peaks for me. David Lynch is just a boss.
Anyone that's not seen it, should check it out on Netflix, and wait for the endless return of well over 20 years, for it to finally be back in 2017.

I used to lowkey hate you because for something reason that Tom Brady avatar you had for a while just actually made me sick to my stomach.
Now I full on love you because I am a Twin Peaks freak. My avatar is from one of the morgue scenes in the pilot or ep 1 when Cooper is examing Laura's hands. Pretty much on all my non sports boards, my user name is armsbendback.
Seeing that its been pushed back to 2017 bums me out but as long as they get it right, I'm fine.

Just watch the original movie. It ridiculously and stupidly funny. It was pre-fame for a ton of the original cast too.

Yeah, the first movie is a spoof on early 80s summer camp movies, came out in 2001. There were a bunch of young scetch comedy talents playing dysfunctional camp counselors. The writer/director was one of the main talents from The State. Plenty of online platforms like Netflix will have it available for free.

I think I've re-watched Twin Peaks at least 7 times. I quote the show regulary.
I always take a sip of my coffee and go "damnnnn fine coffee!"..
Good news is they added 9 extra episodes, I love the Lynch is doing every single one himself, but a little worried about the work load. I think they're going to break it up into two seasons, which is fine.
I can't believe how many character they're rumored to bring back. Even Piper Laurie, that played Catherine is willing to do it again. Even Richard Beymer, Benjamin Horne, that actor hasn't done anything in years, is rumored to revise his role.
I feel like we just had an Albert and Harry Truman moment.

Think in terms of American Pie, kinda similar movie. if you liked American Pie a lot, you'd probably like it.

It's way more irreverent, self-parody than American Pie kind of comedy.
Just for clarification, it's also a show this time around, not a movie.

I currently need a new show, i'm kinda going through Bones (okay) and Physch (which is funny) I know the new season of suits started up so i might watch that. i hear people talking about humans, what is the basic rundown of that show and is it good? thanks
