The 2015 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not all knowing on how the MLB Trade Deadline and all of that works, so can somebody explain to me how this was possible since the deadline has passed?

Did Swisher, Bourn, and Johnson all have to clear waivers?

Yep, they did...rather easily I'd imagine.

I think it was the waiver rule. Place the guy on waivers.

Zimmer isn't close to ready at this stage, bringing him up is just starting the clock for no reason other than boredom.

I think Roth was DFA'd today too. With Bourn and Swisher gone and Johnson brought in, I think we have two open spots on the 40 man?

I'd love to see Ramsey and Soto, but I know that probably won't happen.

No doubt one will be a pitcher after the workout the bullpen for today. Soto could well be a candidate. Can't see them lodging two CFers and not replacing at least one.

I have no idea why but I feel better about being a Indians fan after this trade. I think, I might have to care again as the young ones in this sport are the most fun to watch and hope develop. If this is a reboot that works, This starting pitching staff can help make that happen, As long as we can develop any sort of offense.

Pretty sure it'll be Armstrong. He's the next in line for a shot in the pen..... Soto is struggling vs. lefties this year for some reason and Armstrong has been pretty dominant.

Ramsey should definitely get the opportunity, being 25, 26 next season, the time is definitely now.

Whoa there...struggling? Soto vs. LHB this year: 16.1 IP, 14 H, 3 ER, 18 K, .233 avg, 1.65 ERA...if that is struggling, a lot of people struggle in baseball.

Problem right now is he seems to have lost his control a bit. 4 BB in his last 1.1 innings pitched.
