2015 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Frazier was named Carolina League Player of the Month, per the Indians official Twitter account.

The tribes minor leaguers are stepping up big in the 2nd half. Paulino is hitting 337 after struggling for 2.5 years.

Lynchburg put up an 8 spot in the 2nd inning. Frazier with another double (31) and 2 more RBI (62) and is now hitting .287.

god @Boobie I need some comparisons for our 4 nice minor league bats please...Frazier, Bradley, Nellie, and Zimmer

What's his floor/ceiling b00bs?

Floor at this point is probably Jesus Aguilar. Crazy natural power but never figures out the feel for hitting at the higher levels.

Ceiling is tough, not sure he has the natural feel/instincts for the game. Someone like Chris Carter comes to mind with the Astros.

Not sure he'll ever hit for average, but could be a three option guy who gets you 25-30 homers.

When I had him with Team USA, he was still catching and wasn't very good. Not sure he'll ever be more than below average as a 1B.

Didnt play much on that team (it was freaking stacked), but I'll always remember him hitting a home run off the light tower at Minute Maid Park in Houston (off A's 1B prospect Matt Olson).

Never have I seen a HS junior with that much power, scouts were actually laughing at how far he hit it.

With Bradley sort of on his heels, I don't mind this one bit. Guy should be the everyday DH at the MLB level...he's going to slug enough, and Bradley has pretty good #'s against LHP so far in his pro career, so it's not like he would have to play 1B very much, if ever. The thought of eventually having Bradley and Rodriguez in the middle of the order is so enticing...the prospect of having 2 guys who can get you 25-30 HRs a year just seems so foreign right now...those K #'s though...woof.

Just hit a 2-run HR.

Also, Mike Papi quietly has 31 2Bs this year. Power in terms of HR #'s hasn't come yet, but he has an advanced approach at the plate that should move him through the farm regardless.

Paulino just smacked a 3 run HR too.
