Since he's still under contract and the season is still ongoing, I believe he would need to receive permission from the team before he can interview with other teams. Certainly possible that he would receive it, but the organization would know what's going on.

This is true. Windy said something about it would be hard for Atlanta or Orlando to hire him because there would only be a 4 days in between the last game of the finals and the draft. So they'd have to interviewing and hire him very quickly since they can't talk to him now.

Opinions of idiots means nothing...RealGM seems to have a lot. If idiots had their way, our coach who has us 8-0 in the playoffs and 20-2 against the East in the post season in 2 years would have been fired in March.

Such a dumb way of thinking. Does Lebron attract players due to his greatness? Sure but he doesn't tell what Griffin to do. Of all the GM's we've been through with LBJ, none have come close to Griffin's expertise in understanding how to work the system.
I am still amazed we got Korver and Deron Williams on this team for a bag of peanuts. Lebron didn't wave some magic wand to enable that.
Casual NBA fans are dumb.
