So long, David Griffin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sidenote: I thought Stein was laid off? He's still got ESPN all over his twitter and his stuff is still being posted on their website.

They wouldn't lay him off, I don't think; he's got good inside dope in the NBA and writes pretty well.

Another nugger from Lowe's pod. Gilbert considers GMs replaceable and does not place much value on them. This would explain Griffin's current status and how he loves to promote the assistant of the guy he just fired. Trent Redden, come on down!

Hopefully the new GM think long and hard about the coaches.

We need a new gm, acquiring guys who are one dimensional and can't play against
Golden State isn't going to cut it. Also extending lue for 5 years looks like a stupid movie right now.

Some of you guys act like we can spin up two way players out of thin air.

What are there? 12-15 two way players in the entire league? And the Warriors now have 3?

That's the single reason I think you should move Love for PG IF you can. Another 2-way guy at least gives you a punchers chance but chasing bench filler wont make a difference IMO.

It sucks that this Cavs team would beat 95% of the past finals teams...but they just ran in to the 5% this year.

I hate the bitching about the coaching... Didn't he coach the team last year?

My issue has been with the lack of effort on both ends of the floor and the types of players acquired.

What I think we should do (now no way in Hell OKC agrees to this but it is a pipe dream) is to trade TT and Iman for Westbrook. Have Kyrie, and Westbrook as your back court. With Lebron at the 3 and Love at the 4 and Sanders at the 5.

Find a way to get a decent back up PG someone like say Calderon. Have JR come off the bench with Derrick Williams as your back up to Lebron, Frye is your back up 5 now we just need someone to back up Love.

He shouldn't have put us in a position where the only other guy we could put on Durant was 90 year old Richard Jefferson.

Everybody saw this coming a mile away. This isn't slight to Jefferson who did his best.
I don't know how you guard Durant, at all, to be fair.

Indeed, but we needed a bigger more athletic body to be more of a deterrent at bare minimum.

He had the easiest points I've ever see off of free dunks and nobody having either enough size of quickness to throw him off just a tiny bit.
