I mean, it's not OBJ.. But it definitely wouldn't "suck" by any means if the Browns did acquire him.
Of course we all want to draft someone at 17, but you move that pick and whatever else you think is worth it in Dorsey's eyes to land him here. Wide receiver isn't our top need, that you are right about.. But this isn't adding some middle of the road guy. You're adding a top 3 receiver, maybe even the best receiver, to a young core with a franchise quarterback under center, two pro bowl caliber running backs, a above average offensive line, and a few solid wide outs already here.
You toss Odell into the mixture.. The offense is going to be one of the best in the league, if not the best if you're trying to be serious here. The options Mayfield would have.. The stats he would put up.
It would be absolutely insane. The team would then need to add a few guys defensively, but they're knocking on the door of the playoffs/super bowl with a move like that.
I think the chances are very, very slim the Browns trade for him, however.. As badly as I want it to go down. So it's likely not even worth our time here debating.
