They Hawks ran one play in the 4th quarter. Mike Bibby pick n pop with Joe Johnson. They ran it literally every time and we couldn't figure out how to defend it.

Hopefully other teams don't see this and run it on us, because we looked lost.

It is not a theory it is in fact a fact. They had some terrible calls, some non goal tending calls (2 by my count) and some non calls when LeBron drove. I'm not trying to say that the refs are out to get us per say just that they need to look into a better officiating crew for the next game. These guys were terrible.

We shot 41% from the field and 22% from the outside. Somehow we fail to acknowledge the fact that our shooters (West particulary) misfired and therefor lost the game. There were ample opportunities. We missed them. Game over. Move on.

i dont really care, but ill never like anderson varejoe, ever. guy has no balls and his nerves always get the best of him. dude he hits his free throws when the pressure is off, but when its on what happens? look at the game tonight, how about the boston series? couldnt hit shit. man i really dont like him, he just irritates me and is a big momentum killer with his foolishness out there. lol he thinks he can play d but the only thing he has is height, other than that hes not even a good defender, and cant really score. sloppy bastid.

Yes West and Wally were huge for them tonight (as in the Hawks) why in the hell did West take 19 shots in the first place? And people say bringing in another big name player would kill the offense please.

I thought AV missed several free throws in the 4th, some of which could have extended the lead. I didn't realize it was the refs fault he blew it.

Dude.. honestly, I know blaming the refs gets you nowhere, but NOT pointing out that they had an impact on the game is literally an act of double-think. I mean, you're saying they're officiating was flawless, or that no matter what the Cavaliers should overcome? I posit that if the refs push a game hard enough, it becomes extremely difficult to pull it out. The Hawks had what a 15 point advantage from free throws, in a game that was honestly a 1 possession game come the last 90 seconds? That's the difference.

I think having blind faith, or blind ignorance to obvious problems is what perpetuates this kind of fraud. People can flame me all they want for trashing the officials but this game was bullshit, through and through. I'm not mad at anyone on RCF, I'm just pissed because like almost everyone here, I've watched every game this season and to see us lose this game makes my blood boil. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we played perfectly, but we did a hell of a job coming back from a huge deficit that was primarily a result of heavy foul trouble.. The Cavs and the Hawks all bend the rules, but the refs determine to what degree each team can get away with such infractions. I think the influence of the refs was so blatant and obvious during this game it was like there were 3 teams on the court.

But I know it's not the PC thing to say, so I'll STFU so everyone can have "faith" in the system.

wow now i know how teams feel when they play us and we get to the line so much.....you really wanna hate that team.

How the hell did LeBron screw us tonight? He played the best game of the season for christ sakes! One bad shot with two minutes to go didn't screw us...he created TWO three-point opportunities in last TEN seconds...

Same reason people pray to a silent God. Because the alternative would be so horrible that it's unimaginable. There's a medical/psychological name for it, but it eludes me at the moment. Suffice it to say, it's not a winnable argument among sports fans, so might as well leave it alone. It's like trying to convince an evangelist that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. It's just not happening.
