GAME 24 | Cavs vs Hawks | Dec. 13, 2008 | 7:30 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the other team has 16 more FT's and you are constantly getting hit but getting no calls its very natural to whine and moan.

The lakers and the celtics do the samething, the only difference is that they get the calls we don't.

Not really. We weren't attacking all game long, the Hawks were.

Other teams fans complain about the calls we get all the time too. To say we get screwed on calls more than other teams is just being completely bias.

The only thing worse than the Cavs whining and moaning about the refs during the game is _______ after the game.

The Cavs had their chance on the road, they didn't take advantage, they lost. Next time, maybe they'll play aggressive for the whole game and get more calls.

Beat the T-Wolves.

You know what pissed me off more than the refs sucking?

The Cavs whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning and whining and moaning ALL GAME LONG. Focus on the game!! I can't stand when we are crying over a call and while the other team is running up court playing 5 on 4.

I hear you would normally agree completely. I hate whining in basketball, especially the A.I. style of panting and crying, but honestly, if you're LeBron James and consistently on every drive your getting punched in the face, kneed in the ribs, and scratched by dirty nails, you're going to get pissed after awhile. Especially if they're calling steals as reach-in fouls on every possession. Sometimes I feel bad watching LeBron hobble away from a layup after getting demolished, dude's literally bleeding with strips of skin missing from his forearms, and the refs just look at him like "Say something bitch, I dare you."

After awhile, all you can do is get T'd up because you have to say something about it; otherwise, you feel like a bitch and that killer instinct goes away.

ya Lebron probably takes more hits then anyone in the NBA. But honestly just about every play lebron is looking for blood wherever he gets hit. SOmetime he barely gets hit and he think he is bleeding. It gets a bit rediculous at times

But if I took the hits lebron does I might be in a wheel chair

Sad loss but no biggie. We should've rebounded better but I'm happy with the effort. It was a tough away game against a solid playoff team. The loss is understandable. Let's start a new streak!!

Indiana at Cavs, 11/7, Cavs 28 FTs attempted, Pacers 11 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Denver at Cavs, 11/12, Cavs 12 FTs attempted, Nuggets 24 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Cavs at Nets, 11/18, Cavs 40 FTs attempted, Nets 30 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Warriors at Cavs, 11/28, Cavs 23 FTs attempted, Warriors 30 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Knicks at Cavs, 12/3, Cavs 30 FTs attempted, Knicks 10 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Raptors at Cavs,12/9, Cavs 23 FTs attempted, Raptors 30 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Cavs at Sixers, 12/10, Cavs 18 FTs attempted, Sixers 32 FTs attempted, Cavs win

Cavs at Hawks 12/13, Cavs 23 FTs attempted, Hawks 39 FTs attempted, Cavs lose

Other games played by the Cavs this year didn't have as big a disparity as games above.

The Cavs have overcome FTs deficits before to win. It's just more noticeable tonight because they lost.

From the stats above, the Cavs also have had the advantage in this category in various home games. I don't think it was the refs' fault that the Knicks and Pacers lost their games in Cleveland.

your an idiot. Would you rather have LeBron say " Thats ok, he nailed me in the face on my shot but your the ref " OR " wtf ref i want to win this f-ing game blow your whistle"

Yes.

Because when you argue with the ref there are only two possible outcomes: you get T'd up, or nothing changes and you just look like a crybaby.

I'd rather him run up the court and play defense. The biggest whiners in the NBA when it comes to complaining about fouls are Kobe, Rasheed and sadly LeBron.

Why complain? It's not going to get you anywhere.

Ya I understand he might be mad at a call but why yell at the ref he isnt just gonna say

"Ok Lebron because you asked I will call a foul"

*Blows whistle and calls foul well Atlana is dribbling the ball up the court*

I didn't have a problem with LeBron getting a technical tonight. Sometimes that's the only way to try to get the ref's attention. It didn't hurt, of course, that the Hawks missed that free throw. It stopped that possession for the Hawks too, and they had to take the ball out on the side.

But not getting back on transition defense while complaining about a foul is just a way to compound the problem, whether by LeBron or anyone else.

LOL... Yea, very true... As much as I don't want to pick up a 31 year old shooting guard. I'd trade Wally, Sasha and a pick for VC right now without thinking twice. I think it's obvious Mo and LeBron are comfortable in playoff style games. Put Carter next to them and we'd be unstoppable.*

*almost.
It can be just Wally... they don't need to give up Sasha, I'd rather see Sasha stay with his recent playing. Plus Lebron likes him so I doubt he gets traded(apparently Sasha is the only one who can beat Lebron one on one).

I dunno.. You think the Nets would be willing to trade Carter for nothing but an expiring, that'd likely request to be bought out and return to Cleveland? With what everyone has been saying recently, I suspect the Nets are trying to make a playoff run, or at least test the waters. To entice them to trade Carter, we might need to sweeten the deal with Sasha and a pick, or two. Anything that doesn't include Andy, West, Boobie, or JJ is fine by me.. Those guys shouldn't be traded, period.

Looking at the box score and thinking back, a more consistent threat from the 2 and this game and the pistons game would have been won. I honestly think we'd be tied with the Celtics had we acquired Carter in the offseason. Whatever we're going to do, we should do it sooner rather than later if we're going for the #1 seed.

Sasha can beat LeBron one on one? Surely only if the rules state LeBron must shoot from 15+ feet.
