Jacoby Brissett: Class Act

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
"certain things"?

they've completely opened up the passing offense and neglected the running game....

no huddle plays are up 150% y/y

Seven games into the 22' season mirrors the second half of the 21'season, thats on coaching

The Browns have the 8th highest rushing percentage in the league as of 10/24/2022. On 10/24/2021 The Browns had the 3rd highest rushing percentage in the league.

Last year the two two ahead of us through 7 weeks were NO and CHI. their QB's were Taysum Hill and Justin Fields. Two QB's who contributed more to their teams running game than at the time Baker Mayfield.

This year, the 7 QB's ahead of us are

Justin Fields
Marcus Mariota
Jalen Hurts
Daniel Jones
Ryan Tannehill
Mac Jones/Bailey Zappe
Lamar Jackson

By my account, that's 6 of the 8 QB's who run more than Jacoby Brissette. Meaning of the 7 teams who run the ball more than the Browns this season, 6 of them have QB;s who contribute more to their running game than ours.

Now, take that information and explain to me how we have abandoned the run game.

Go.

The Browns are 4th in the league in rushing attempts and all three teams ahead of them (Giants, Falcons and Eagles) play a QB who has anywhere from 20-50 more carries than Brissett.

When you narrow it down to rush attempts by running backs only, the Browns are the No. 1 team rush attempt team in the NFL by a mile.

This talking point that the Browns aren't running the ball enough is just not accurate and needs to end ASAP.

They run the ball traditionally more than any other team in the sport right now.

I don't care what other teams are doing or where the Browns rank within the league re: rushing attempts, that premise isn't related to what the Browns could do with their rushing game thus keeping the defense off the field (which is the biggest weakness of the team).

For as analytic as CBBI thinks he is, where's your solution to these problems that the Browns have? these analytic folk posted these irrelevant stats that just prop up a certain sector of the team while disregarding the actual problems.

lolololololololololololololol

One of the reasons we can't control the clock and run the ball more is because our own defense can't get off the field

The Browns are 2-5

Brissett has accounted for 55% of the Browns totals plays

Chubb 26%

Actually that's false, its a 10% y/y difference in time on the field

Kevon Looney accounted for 0 % of GSW 3 point attempts last season. Steph Curry accounted for 32 % of GSW 3 point attempts last season.

Did GSW abandon the 3 point shot on their way to a Championship?

I'll hang up and listen.

Brissett's 3rd qrter....59 rating, 0 tds, 1 int, 51.9%, 5.4 net yds/att.....

this is where the Browns lose the game

Yea............and he is a backup. What ya expect.... Payton Manning in his prime? Run the fucking ball and take the pressure off him.

The Browns are up almost 50% on avg using "no huddle" plays compared to the 21' season

Ask who's one of the worst in the league re: qb rating?

Take those 4 plays a game and give the ball to Nick Chubb

Uhhh they’ve been losing a lot more so they kind of have to

Possible, but a 60/40 pass to run ratio leads me not to believe that, combined that the 21' season was plagued by these "close" games also.
