Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Where did they think they came from?
I think the current War in Ukraine has demonstrated how far drones have advanced.

Many UFO sightings are based on the concept that the agility and Gs being pulled by the craft are impossible for a human pilot to bear.

Of course, drones don't have such limitations.

Moreover, the US keeps its best weapon systems secret until needed, and the best way to fully test their capabilities, under proper near-combat conditions, is to put them against US aircraft under the semi-controlled conditions of time and place within US airspace and the rigidly enforced rules of engagement.

This is the answer I think makes the most logical sense.

It’s also completely unexciting.

The sheer amount of time our planet has existed makes me think if something has visited it, it would have been well before us.

Why do aliens only visit the US? Don't they want to be cultured?

Captured aliens and or space craft on earth falls apart when you realize not every country would care, willing or able to keep a huge secret from the rest of the planet.

The Rick and Morty episode with the hyper-intelligent dinosaurs was hilarious.

Also, Star Trek: Voyager did an episode on the premise that some Dinosaurs evolved sentience and science, and left the planet before the Chixalub asteroid hit.

I read the section of the bill that was written.

If I have to start taking you seriously, my world will implode.

That being said, damn good for you. Almost nobody does this and just relies on whatever schmuck with an agenda has written the headlines/blurbs.

Are you saying these are the little guys the built tue pyramids?

No -- I was just responding to @The Oi claiming that if they were real, they would have visited us before by showing that UFO fans (of which I am not one) claim that they already have.

Oh hell, I’m talking farther back than that. Humans have been here for a fraction of a fraction of a millisecond of the time Earth has existed.

To think something would have visited here while humans were on the planet is pretty wild.

Mathematically speaking, it would seem far more likely something would have checked this place out while some other life form was here.

Perhaps dinosaurs, or whatever, weren’t of interest to them and they moved on.

That is true IF they developed along the same path we are following.

So you would ask/say, "Well what other path would there/could there be considering physics?"

My reply is, " I don't know and l have no idea."

All l can accept is that humans know only the little bit that they do.
There is a vast amount we don't know, or can't comprehend.
So with that, l would surmise it is possible for a life form to have advanced in some way we currently do not look for.

Admittedly, this supports my pov that there are not alien ships cruising around our little blue planet. But until l see strong evidence, my guess is as good as anyone's

I'm saying if aliens advanced technologically, they would need to communicate. At some point that communications would result in signals sent out into space we could detect. That's the whole rational for SETI.

We don't look for life, we look for signs of communications.

60 light years, 100 light years....that's really not far at all.

The distances are....well....astronomical, but it's the time frame that's the big deal to me.
1,000,000 years is a long time compared to human life, but is a blink in galactic time. Many life forms could've formed, evolved, and gonna away it that time.... in a fraction of galactic time. And any evidence is long gone, or maybe currently immeasurable to us.

Yes, I realize our reach isn't far vs the scale of the milky way, but there should be some civilizations who developed well before us, the reach of their communications transmissions would have had much longer to reach us.

wait, isn't the one on the right the monster from alien? Never mind monsters, how did the Aztecs get a Time Machine to go see Alien?
