Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why do aliens only visit the US? Don't they want to be cultured?

Captured aliens and or space craft on earth falls apart when you realize not every country would care, willing or able to keep a huge secret from the rest of the planet.

As if anything in this country is ever kept secret.

Hearing chatter this guy thinks the Vatican has been instrumental in covering these things up. I'm definitely going to be skeptical as this plays out. I am interested though. Too many hearsay things counting as facts these days.

Thing for me is, because of the vast distances involved, visitation might be more likely from humans either from the future or another dimension. I don't think something that can travel through a wormhole or break the laws of physics as we know them would find either substantially harder to travel than many light years.

Something that could travel at crazy speeds and not die are machines. Machines made by humans or AI's originally made by humans. Also, alien machines.
Wait. Do we really believe that the Vatican is in the business of covering things up?

I'm saying if aliens advanced technologically, they would need to communicate. At some point that communications would result in signals sent out into space we could detect. That's the whole rational for SETI.

We don't look for life, we look for signs of communications.
I understand your view. What I'm suggesting is other life forms may have/are/will communicate outside of our methods of detection.

What ways are those you ask? I have no idea. I'm saying humans know so little (my opinion), there could very well be other clues of life we cannot fathom, including methods of communication.

We are searching for radio waves, water, atmospheres, etc. because that is what we know, that is how we evolved. It would be typically human to think there is only one general path of life forming and evolving.

I've seen Star Trek. There are many diverse forms of life and communication out there.

Part of what this guy was referring to apparently is that Mussolini recovered an alien spacecraft and the Vatican helped him cover it up.

I was saying, even if this guy is a former intelligence officer, that doesn't mean he has any credibility. I think he is at least half crackpot

Yeah 100%. Can we receive "subspace" messages? Would an advanced race looking to communicate across vast distances think speed of light communications were fast enough. Why don't we send telegraph messages into space? That is more advanced than what they would think of radio transmissions.

There is also that idea that an actually "smart" civilization would be wary of transmitting their whereabouts. Attracting malevolent aliens to a world rich in resources is not a great idea necessarily.

wait, isn't the one on the right the monster from alien? Never mind monsters, how did the Aztecs get a Time Machine to go see Alien?

lol and the one on the left is the predator. These are from Alien vs Predator(most underrated of the predator movies)

There's a scene where the Aztec pyramids were constructed as a wargames for predators to fight aliens.

Yeah, there would have to be a different form of communication for advanced life. Something humans currently do not have, and are not close to developing.

Humans have been sending out various forms of radio waves for almost 200 years. So those signals have traveled basically 200 light years. 200 light years is such a tiny distance just in our Milky Way...our Milky Way....just one smallish galaxy, is 100,000 light years across!

And the distance between galaxies....let's just say the distance is vast. Unimaginably vast. And, for aliens to visit, they would have to travel faster than light. And I'm pretty sure humans do not have the capability to measure something faster then light.

Exactly. There are plenty of doofus crackpots in all fields of endeavor, including the military and government. People aren't credible simply because they say they have information that everyone else is covering up.

If you capture an Alien, what do you do?
