Just keep in mind, we can win a championship without Amare. There are plenty of other good deals on the table, and even without a trade, we have one of the most competitive teams in the league.
If this doesn't go through, it's not the end of the world.
Here's the thing though.
Pat Riley is being an asshole and is using Ferry's "soft deadlline" to his advantage. It's easy to tell he is taking his good old time uping his offers, or trying to find a 3rd team to facilitate a deal. If you notice, there really is never any news or progression on the Miami front.
For all we knew, Miami was probably going to stand pat at the deadline. They never really got involved into any major trade discussions until the Cavs pursued Amar'e strongly. So Miami really has nothing to lose by playing the waiting game in hopes that Ferry has to walk away from trade discussions with PHX because of timing issues, and wanting to get something done with another team.

Worst situation is if PHX & MIA push Cleveland out by playing waiting games, and then MIA is unsuccessful in finding a deal for Amar'e. I'll be pissed!
Ferry has shown to be extremely aggressive this trade deadline though, and I bet he does not go out without attempting a haymaker punch. Today is the day to go all in. Offer who they want within reason, or simply knock Miami out of the water by offering to take on Jason Richardson. I don't see how Sarver could walk away from that.
PLEASE CLEVEAND! FOR ONCE BE THE LUCKY ONES!!!

I agree 100%. I haven't even heard an official offer from the Heat yet or a 3rd team mentioned. Riley only stepped up his game when Cleveland made its offer. Also, it seems that the Suns don't want much to do with Beasley, or the expiring deal of J O'Neal (speculation). To those of you who think the Suns might not even trade Amare, I don't buy that only because it seems that the team is at the point of no return. Meaning, Amare' name has been mentioned so much that it has become a distraction to him. As the Suns insider said, Phoenix is not leaking anything out, and if it is true that the Cavs upped their offer (Paul Coro wrote about it today) then I do think Phoenix will eventually agree to the terms of the trade.
I don't like this overconfidence from the fans saying that we're going to run through Miami, Amare or not. How about we focus on each team like they're the best opponent in the league, play against them like it's Game 7 of the finals, and go from there. Ok?
