Not a snowballs chance in hell that happens..

I doubt we draft a QB Savage and Crennel still have a wood over Frye..I don't understand it..

As far as Troy Smith goes? I could see it as a possibility... If he's there in the 2nd, I'd imagine Lerner and the fans would be putting a lot pressure on them to take him...

All that really matters:

Smith > Frye

Nice work with the logos smooth. Very cool. Lucky for us we'll be top 4 and have Thomas in our grasp.

I'm not sure if it's happened, so I could be mistaken, but hasn't AP been a guy that has not finished one full healthy season ?

Goody work, Smoothy

AD had 1,925 yards as a Freshman..I can only assume he was healthy that whole season..But I'm not sure..Other than that, no, he hasn't finished a season healthy..

We need an O line that can make holes for him. We don't have that.

I'm thinking his freshman was his only season that he stayed completely healthy and played in every single game... But even then, I am wondering if that was the year where he was battling an ankle sprain/broken toe the last 4 or 5 games of the year...

Yea, the injury prone is a big concern... It's mostly due to his upright running style that causes him to get so many injuries... But when your in the spot where the Browns would be, who else would you pick over him? There's really no other choice...

In order to be guaranteed him, we'd need to have the top pick... Because it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone, to see him go #1... All of the teams at the top; Lions, Raiders, Cardinals, and Texans, could all use a tackle of his caliber.. So I'm not sure even being at the #4 slot or below will be good enough...

Yea I know... But could you really pass on a chance to get players like AP or Troy Smith?

When I was reading other forums, one post had really got me thinking... The post was about offensive lines and how the Chargers and Giants really don't have the most skilled lineman, but because their chemistry and continuity is why they are some of the best lines... It's not always about talent on the offensive line, the keys to have a great offensive line is familiarity, knowing the guy next to you... So, I'd really like to see what our line could do together as a complete group of players...

Another great example is the New Orleans Saints offensive line... I mean for Christ's sake Jeff Faine is the center, a rookie is the RG and Jon Stinchcomb is the right tackle... Now who in the hell would think they would be formidable at those spots? I mean even Jammal Brown wasn't projected to be a left tackle in the NFL, but yet he is doing great there.. So once again, this leads me to believe that continuity, chemistry and familiarity are BIG things you look for in an offensive line...

Just one more example is the Browns offensive line last year... I mean we had LJ Shelton patrolling the left side of the line and Jeff Faine snapping it to Trent Dilfer... Who in a million years would think that line could produce a 1,000 yard rusher? Who?

Now in no way am I saying we shouldn't address the O-Line, but I do think we must our line grow together instead of keep throwing guys in there year after year...

no way oakland drafts johnson.

Why not?

Randy Moss has basically punched his ticket out of Oakland, as well as Jerry Porter with his antics...

That leaves a HUGE hole at the WR position... The RB position isn't that bad and Brady Quinn is already taken... So why not take one of the best WR prospects coming out of college in awhile? I mean how could you pass up a guy 6'5, who has a 40'+ vertical and runs a sub 4.4 40?
