2009 Ohio State Football

That schedule has 3 games on it:

vs. USC

@Penn State

@ Michigan.

The rest of those games Ohio State will mostly just be playing itself.

So really, 2/3rds of our games are away games!

But, much like last year, our season (and USC's) hinge largely on the second game of the season. Everyone make sure to be free on Sept. 12th! :)

*EDIT* Accidentally listed Mich as a home game.

USC game should be a victory for OSU. Out of conference, SC usually smashes teams and lose that one Pac10 game but OSU has much to prove in this game and I think that they will.
 
This week is hell week for OSU. No phones or computers for the team. First time this has been done by Tressel.

Well, if we win the BT, we we get a BCS bid. If we lose the bid to PSU, or Iowa, then I'd think it would be better for the BT if we went to the Cap One Bowl. 2 BCS bids is stretching the conference too thin come bowl season.

10 wins with this OSU team with who we play is a bad season. I don't think you understand what OSU will have on the field this season. They will be alot better then last season....

Did you list Michigan as a real game? It will just be a game to rest our starters half way through, unless Tressell feels the need to run up the score.

What does when he began as a fan have to do with the fact that 2009 OSU should be much, much better than 2009 Michigan?
 
it just shows me that he only knows the tressel years

sure OSU is way better but if you know the history of this game then you would know that there have been plenty of upsets but im certainly not here to say that OSU wont be the heavy favorite

im just saying that in Ann Arbor against UM... you cant just wash us off the board... I certainly know Tress and crew isnt

we shall see what happens... im excited to see this season
 
"Should be" and "will be" are two different things. Michigan will be better than last year and OSU lost a ton of talent. I think we'll win though.

Well, if Tress and the crew isn't taking Michigan lightly, and OSU has much better players, how is Michigan even going to sniff victory?

BTW - I watched all of Cooper's debacles in the 90's (96 was the worst). Yet I still know that the game in AA will be an easy victory.

thank you for a reasonable post... even I see the buckeyes will probably win but Michigan is light years better than last year and OSU is coming to AA so anything can happen... its not a game you can sweep under the rug before it happens

but whatever... we'll see once the season starts rolling...maybe im wrong and Michigan is just as bad
