2012 Draft Crush

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ive watched 5 videos on this guys and they were titled:
Has ASU's Vontaze Burfict really matured? After tackling the RB Burfict takes his shoe and throws it
ASU's Vontaze Burfict refuses to come out of game
Vontaze Burfict throws a punch in 4th quarter of ASU vs. OSU
Vontaze Burfict facemasks and seems to choke OSU player
Vontaze Burfict headbutts OSU's QB Katz

This guy can go to Cincy.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense considering all of those are criminal activities.................................................

So he's an asshole, not exactly a bad thing for a defense. Anyway, all of that is from last year. I was watching the USC v ASU game and he was helping other players up, commentators even noticed and commented on how he's matured.

besides, I'd always take a guy who plays with too much passion and emotion instead of too little. on the field he's as physical and mean as it gets; his late hits and personal fouls are just part of the deal. With good coaching and more experience, you should be able to get rid of *most* of the fouls while keeping all of his intensity. Anyways, all the fouls aren't necessarily a bad thing. As a junior in college he already has the reputation of a Ray Lewis or Dick Butkus as an mean player and hard hitter; i mean, opposing QBs are already complaining how dirty he is. I guarantee WRs running short crossing routes have him in the back of their mind.

Browns need a cheap-shot, mean motherfucker out there. Anyone ever notice that noone ever punishes cheap-shot artists? You know why...because they're scared of them.

I'd take that kid any day.

I think we should go LB/WR in the 1st round. I don't understand why people would be scared of taking Burfict because of his attitude. It's not like we are building a team of thugs like Cincy. Like Jigo said, this team could use a nasty mofo on defense. DE, CB, and RT need to be addressed aftewards. Im not a fan of taking an RT in the 1st. It's a problem, but I would rather the Browns get more of playmaker with their 1st two picks.

Two impact players in the first. Best defensive player and best WR in whatever order. You can worry about a RT with your third pick. I think the offensive line will look better as the year goes on.

Exactly. This team is in really good position going forward. Like I said last week, this is the most important draft for us since 99. Obviosuly all drafts are important, but this one is key for us in cashing in on the big trade down last spring.

Totally agree, thats why I was pumped when we landed Sheard. The guy threw someone through a plate glass window. This team could use some more mean.

Meanwhile...thus far, that Atlanta trade looks terrific. Very early, but Phil Taylor looks solid and the Falcons are playing middling football at best. Julio Jones has been pretty good, but certainly not worth the amount of value the Falcons gave up.

Shit, if the Falcons keep scrubbing it up we might have two high picks this year.

Only one. The Browns are making the playoffs this year...

I cant reiterate enough how awesome it is we are talking about 2 first round picks in this thread and the player we traded down for in Taylor has proven to be a stud so far. Its nice to have a regime know what they are doing for a change.

2012 draft class also the potential to be stacked. Especially at WR

Do they ever convert SS's to FS's and vice versa when they're in the pros? If so, it sure would be nice to be sporting TJ Ward and Ray Ray Armstrong out there at the same time.

Ray-Ray is another guy I've been able to watch and he's everywhere all the time.

They do it all the time, comes down to coverage skills though. No way TJ can play FS, he doesnt have the coverage skills. To be honest, dont know enough about Armstrong to comment on him playing FS.
