Not at 4.
I don't disagree
Not at 4.
Some years it is going to be Jarrett Brown, another year it might be a better QB. I think the idea is that they're going to take a look at a lot of QBs so they can hopefully find one that can blossom into a stud. This year, think Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, Nick Foles, etc.
Not at 4.
how many good Qb's will there be next year
I don't think anyone wants Tannehill at 4, but if he drops to 22 or 37 he'd be a decent prospect.
If he turns out to not be the QB of the future then that sets us back another year.
You can say that about every QB prospect. With that mentality Colt is your starter for the forseeable future.
He will be good enough just to get us out of the top 5 and miss a good QB next year.
With the way people here are talking, he won't be good enough to lead us to a 1-15 record...
I think we would of won 7-9 games if it wasn't for injuries
did anybody listen to Triv last Thursday. they were talking about a story where Dan Gilber, Randy Learner and the Dolans met to bring RG3 back to Cleveland. He would play for all 3 teams. Shooting guard, center fielder and the quarterback. He signed for a $200 million / per year for a lifetime contract The whole show was pretty funny. I think they were poking fun at the sports talk show hosts
Not to offend you, but that sounds fucking stupid.
This team can't afford to miss on first round draft picks anymore. Drafting a QB in the first round just to bring in another prospect and because Colt isn't the QB of the future would be awfully stupid. If they aren't sure Tannehill is going to be a great QB in this league (which I'm sure they aren't) then they need to let someone else waste a pick on him.
