2014-15 Off-Season Thread (Moss Acquired - Page 16)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm late to the party, per usual with RCF these days, but this awesome! Congrats man.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Hope this first one did ya proud :chuckle:

Hiroki Kuroda will leave the Yankees and pitch for Japan this upcoming season.

Huge loss for the Yankees.

That was a very NumbersDont article. It almost made me an Indians fan again. Props!

Hey, I had to keep the memory alive. Love that writing style, that's basically what I told him I'd be writing like for the site. Now you've made it my personal challenge to make you an Indians fan again :chuckle:

So, apparently, I saw on Twitter that the Indians are looking to trade Swisher after acquiring Moss.

You are a tab bit late to the party sir. Everyone knows this well him or Murphy. Anyways I kinda want to keep Swish and not just give him away for nothing unless it really helps team in any way. If nothing else I would bring him off the bench and use him Giambi style. Again not sure he would go for that either.

Asdrubal Cabrera is a Tampa Bay Ray.

I mean, even if he gains a little more control, his SO rate is insane.

At this point I don't think we're going to do anything else major. I think they'll find a taker for Murphy, sign a few more guys to minor league deals, and call it an offseason.

Guys I'm still interested in (on cheap or minor league deals):

Emilio Bonifacio
Juan Francisco
Jonny Gomes
Eric Young Jr.
Colby Rasmus
Roberto Hernandez
Alexi Ogando
Brian Wilson
Mike Adams
Matt Albers
Jesse Crain
Joba Chamberlain
Nick Punto (just kidding)

I'm also interested in Francisco Rodriguez if he can't find a big contract elsewhere.

Being that Weathers is a Driveline client, I wonder if Trevor Bauer had anything to do with this signing.

As for Weathers himself, he is going to be 30 and has never come close to itching a full season due to injuries. And has as many walks as innings pitched in his career. About as big a flyer as you are going to get.
