2014-15 Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Russell Westbrook and Curry are in their own league right now at the point guard position.

But remember, they're older than Kyrie and entering their prime too. Kyrie can get there one day. But these two are clearly better than Chris Paul.

I fucking hate Chicago. I so want them in a playoff series with Rose and Butler healthy.

nice inbounds play by chicago, terrible play by okc on the other end

What a terrible finish for Westbrook. So many bad shots in the final minutes.

I wouldn't trade the Knicks pick for Boogie and I love his game.
Demarcus Cousins is exactly the type of player you hope your first pick in the draft turns into. There is no team in the league that wouldn't offer that Knicks pick for Boogie and the value's really not even close. Jahlil, widely regarded as the best prospect in the draft, most likely wouldn't be as good as Cousins even if he reached his full potential, and there's even the slight possibility he busts.

Bulls about to lose by the looks of it. Makes us #2 I believe.

A lot goes into constructing a team. You can't just throw talented players together with no regard for fit. You honestly think Melo and Boogie is a good match? Both are HIGH usage players who need the ball in their hands to be effective, doesn't make much sense putting them together. Also Boogie is my boy but he's a bit of a high-maintenance player, you need to cater to him. I don't think NY would be a good environment for him at all.

That pick will be in the Top 4/5. If I were Phil, I'd much rather have D'Angelo Russell, Karl Anthony Towns, Emmanuel Mudiay, or Jahil Okafor on a rookie contract thereby preserving cap space for a high impact FA than trading said pick for Boogie and being limited in the future in terms of constructing that team.

Draymond Green has really come a long way in a short amount of time. Dude is definitely going to be seeing a nice bump in pay sometime soon.

I get all of what you're saying but those top guys in this draft may or may not turn out to be above average NBA players. Remember how good and how deep this draft class was supposed to be? Now you look at guys like Noah Vonleh, Jabari, Dante Exum, Smart, etc and besides Wiggins, you wonder if any of them will even be stars anymore. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. In my opinion, Cousins has a top 5 trade value in the league and he's the type of guy you disregard fit for and look to build a team around. They may have Melo who's also high usage but honestly I don't see a team with Melo winning either way (seriously, I don't think he impacts the win total that much) so I wouldn't not trade for Cousins just because you already have a guy like Melo. Cousins is putting up insane numbers right now, so imagine what he'll be like in his prime.

This GSW vs LAC game has been pretty entertaining so far. Although, if the Clips don't cut into the lead a bit, I don't think i'll watch much of the fourth.

I can't believe Curry is still playing. This is exactly how Rose's career got ruined.

He is beasting, but it looks pretty clear to me that Westbrook wants to pad his stats. Dude is trying too hard.

Looks like me playing 2k MyPlayer.

I wish LeBron had Westbrooks motor. The guy tries every possession, goes after every board, defends, and attacks while setting up his team mates. I hope this will be LeBron in the playoffs
